She noticed him the day he came to Winchester, but she had no idea that one day she would be so madly in love with him!Years passed, Mae was now married to Uhtred, met his men and fought every day for her throne! It was an impertinence to steal her throne and every inhabitant of Winchester saw it the same way!But she would not get her throne back...not in this life, not if Ælswith lived!
