She finally begins to accept her new, tragic reality when an old face pops up. But the newcomer isn't alone. With him comes a set of companions who she automatically finds an interest in- a strong interest. He isn't in the best shape either, but it's not a twist of fate that has made him this way. He's lost many friends that were close to him, but that isn't the reason he behaves this way. Deep down inside his heart is a black field of despair and anger. A storm has started to brew in a distant forest, causing living things to melt into mindless monstrosities. The infection taints anyone who comes into contact with the creatures, infecting them with the same disease. Matters get worse as the turtles return home to find that the storm originated from New York City.
