"No," she whispered, "I don't believe you." His green eyes snapped to hers, his heart twisting at the sound of her voice. She knew their love was strong; but it wasn't enough. It was sweet but lacking passion and understanding, and she thought it was fine for the time being. They never said much, but her mind was a storm and the depths of his eyes spoke volumes.
