Polar opposites: the world beyond reality
In this thrilling adventure of Carina Novak, she goes on a journey of self-discovery to find out who, and what, she truly is after strange events transpire in her life. Along the way she meets a jaw-dropping boy named Cole Baker with some "abnormalities" and odd abilities. Together, they discover what it truly means to love oneself and that there truly is no such thing as normal. Cole aids in Carina's journey by showing her that she has not, nor has she ever been, unlovable. Ultimately, Carina learns to accept herself for who she is rather than trying to hide certain aspects of herself.Warning:This story is a bio-mythography based around my experiences with borderline personality disorder and schizoaffective disorder, including some of the psychosis aspects, and this story will portray the positive and negative parts of the life I have lived. I also wanted to incorporate Peter Pan and Neverland because that was a childhood favorite of mine so you will see elements of that as well.
