Pennies
Gracie is homeless, has been for most of her life. When a particular cold set of days cause her to move from her former place in downtown Manhattan-a measly alleyway- she finds not only a new sleeping arrangement, but the interest of a certain tall dark and handsome stranger...minus the dark. When said stranger learns her situation he gives her an application to a job, and some free nights in his apartment. Except...when Gracie gets the job it just so happens to be for him, and he's not the sweet person she's thought he was. Gracie needs something more than pennies in her metaphorical bank account, and the tall not-so-dark and handsome stranger is giving her hundred dollar bills...he just might not be worth it.…
