Eventually, Merle decides to take matters into his own hands. Will Rosie ever come to understand that it was for the better? While on this adventure, Daryl has a run-in with a group of children, one of them being the quiet, but angry Dakota Matthews.After the loss of her father, nine-year-old Dakota finds herself left alone in France, unsure of what to do. Dakota keeps to herself, refusing to speak to anyone whatsoever. She doesn't want to be there anymore. All she wants is to find her mother and siblings, across the world, in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Lucky for her, Daryl Dixon just so happens to be heading the same way.•I'd recommend reading Future Ghosts before reading this book. There will be several references back to Future Ghosts and its characters.
