Living With The Devil
Faith is a sweet girl, fresh out of her small hometown and is looking for a cheap apartment in the city. She works downtown in the cute thrift shop, the patrons are nice and the hours are flexible, the owner understanding her struggling to make ends meet. While out on her hunt for an apartment one day, she finds an ad looking for a roommate, one who "doesn't ask too many questions and can put up with odd behavior" to anyone, it would seem super sketchy but when you're desperate, you do desperate things. She messages the number listed and gets almost immediate acceptance, she moves in and spends the following two weeks without so much as seeing her roommate, but she knows they're there. They're not the cleanest, and sometimes they'll leave her a little thank you note when she does clean up their mess, but upon meeting her roommate one night in the dark, she wishes she never had. ~"Wh-What the hell are you doing?" I asked, looking into his crimson eyes as he held out his blood soaked hands toward me, almost as if he were trying to calm me. "Hey now, let's not get all worked up." He said, his adam's apple bobbing as he swallowed. "It's nothing to be afraid of, I'm nothing to be afraid of ok? You just need to go back to your room and it'll all be gone in the morning." His horns glinted in the dark and I could feel a knot building in my stomach as I stared at the creature I called a roommate in disbelief. "I'm gonna be sick, and you're not even real." "I assure you, i'm as real as that lacy pink thong you're wearing." He chuckled. "Ass hat! My roommate's a fuckin perv. Great." I grumbled, picking my glass back up off the floor and filling it at the sink once more before stomping off to my room. "I'm not cleaning up any bloodstains!" I called back over my shoulder before slipping down the hall and into my room.…
