I'm not going to lie, I did not like the romantic subplot in Avengers Age of Ultron regarding Bruce Banner and Natasha Romanoff. I feel like Captain America The Winter Soldier was building up a romantic relationship between Steve and Natasha. As much as I liked Joss Whedon, I have to question what he was thinking when writing that subplot in Avengers 2. I would have liked Avengers 2 a lot better if Steve and Natasha had ended up together. It would have made a lot more sense. We all remember that scene in Avengers Endgame when Steve and Natasha have a conversation together before Scott Lang shows up.
