"There will come a warrior bathed in fire to save your souls"The country of Pretath has reigned victorious after the Great War, thanks to the many sorcerers and magic filled citizens who were forcefully drafted, But the king is power hungry and is willing to do anything to ensure his reign. Any form of magic or magic filled being has been declared illegal after the ending of the war, and anyone confirmed to possess magic will be sentenced to death. It is within this country, deep within the mountainous region, that a small village called Soot lies, home to the orphaned, outcasted, and unwanted. Young orphaned Anala, whose red hair isn't the only reason she's been named after fire, is an unwanted resident of Soot, surviving off of coins she pickpockets and the orphan refuge of the church . When Anala leaves town from fear of being discovered and runs into a rebel army base in the mountains, will they become her refuge? Or will they become her ruin?…
