The year is 2245 and the Earth is largely controlled by Princips Ltd who have monopolised by slowly buying up different companies. The rich now live in mega cities whilst the poor dwell in slums. Countries have been reassigned as numbers and there are only a few independent states left. The one thing you do not do is cross Princips Ltd, break the law and you can be jailed or even killed. When Kira steals some bread for her starving mother she is caught and put up for slavery. Her new master is known for being brutal, but reputations are not always what they seem, especially when you are taken to one of the most beautiful islands in the world, a far cry from the deprivation of the slums or bright lights of the city.…

Super Lizard Returns
I really like the characters of Ropo and Tony and have lots of ideas for them. A few people told me they would read more so I have decided to make them into a short story set. Basically if I am feeling stressed or down and want to write they are a bit of a release from mu other, far heavier, novel. Let me know what you think as well as any mistakes (I make a lot!). Super Lizard Begins
I was asked to promote National Short Story Week 2012 at work to enable the kids I teach to get more out of books and literacy. I thought I would help by writing a short story. I used a plot generator from http://www.springhole.net/writing_roleplaying_randomators/plototron.htm to make things a little harder and a little more silly. It came up with the plot of a lizard who steals a bag of crisps by gaining superpowers. Here is my short story about such an occasion.
