Chelsey Gordon is an archeology student and for the first time, she is visiting Pompeii with her professor, Mrs. Olsen, and her classmates. While there, they make a discovery that changes her life as well as one of her classmates, Julia Holt. After touching the statues of two people encased in ash, Chelsey and Julia are taking back in time to 79 A.D. just before Mount Vesuvius erupted. While there, they try to discover why they are there.
