Seeing Ghosts
Some things are better left in the past, and Beth thinks she's one of them. She doesn't remember much before waking up in the local "haunted" diner on Halloween night, but she knows she worked there as a server, and she's certain she witnessed something horrible and strange before she was knocked unconscious-only the diner's been closed for more than a decade, and the only evidence of any crime is the all-too-real blood on her costume and a nasty head wound to match. But when a facetious ghost named Al makes an appearance, Beth knows she's not as wrong as the evidence claims-or she's as crazy as everyone thinks she is.Al is a lot of things, but he's pretty sure dead isn't one of them. He might as well be, though, because one botched science project now has him walking through walls (most of them) and invisible to everyone but an irascible redhead-and the clock is ticking before he might disappear for good. Will Beth and Al be able to untangle the mysteries of the past, or will it catch up to them first?…
