Barry Allen wasn't always the Flash. There was a time, before he became the vigilante, when he was perfectly happy with his life. Or as happy as you could be. He had a great job, amazing family, and a great girlfriend. Barry Allen and Elizabeth Thorne (Liz) had been together for two years before the Particle Accelator blew up. Barry had been put into a coma for months to follow. Liz didn't know how to continue going about as everything was ok. She had never gone more than a day without seeing Barry smile or hearing his voice. Barry wakes up 9 months later. But he can't seem to recognize the girl he loved with the one he is faced with now.
