What the title says…
"Mitchell you need to go now! It will be okay. See you on the other side" he says. You look into the eyes of your best friend as the charges beep rapidly. Time slows as he pushes you out of the way out of the blast. While the machine was taking off you land on the ground. The landing jarrs your bones but you look at the aircraft. It explodes and your knocked back. The world stops and you realize.. You just watched your best friends death. Rubble bounces back and lands on your arm eventually cutting it off. Your skin is burned and bleeding as your sergeant races over. He tries to comfort you and keep you awake as he calls for medical evac.
