When She Went Past
People talked for eternity, it seemed, yet she couldn't make herself listen to the words. The voices blended in, creating a haze of tones she couldn't quite comprehend. She could almost feel them moving around, yet she didn't join the world. This perplexed her, the state that she was in that seemed to last for centuries.Some things stuck with her, though, as if some ghosts lingered on her being.
