This is a short-ish story of a man named Trofim Bloodnivski. Dr. Blood to those who know him best. Once a renowned surgeon in the Mid 1800's who was skilled far beyond what the technology of the time allowed. After the death of his wife and his inability to help her, Bloodnovski grew obsessed with figuring out the key to saving others. This obsession grew into something far more sinister. An obsession with human endurance both physically and mentally. No longer able to differentiate between his work doing good or more harm he remains secluded in an undisclosed mountain range where he can do his experiments in peace.**This is still a work on progress and largely unedited. Ariane has been engaged from the day she was born. Her entire life laid out before her in the form of tea and balls. Meetings with families or dates with the man she was promised to. One summer at the coast had changed her life. A mysterious prince finds himself stranded on the island and soon the two fall in love.The prince disappears just as mysteriously as he arrived, leaving Ariane to feel lost and abandoned. The perfect pick for an evil sea witch hell bent on turning the hearts of women to ice.Elio comes from a long line of royals, and was expected to follow tradition despite his thirst for adventure. Finding himself on an island he had never seen before instead of his bed he soon falls in love with the mysterious Ariane. Only to be ripped away from her and sent back to the home he had been taken from. Learning of his sister's disappearance sends him on the very adventure he craved giving him the perfect opportunity to find both his sister and the very Island he had met Ariane.…
