Lucas D Marvelous was born at the place formerly known as Rio de Janeiro, which is now located in Slot League, being the son of a trainer and his partner Animon. Lucas does not have many memories from his childhood before age ten, but he knows his father has passed away and was a great trainer, with the boy having been raised at Karakura Town, a small town in Edo League known for housing the researcher Keisuke Urahara. With the town producing very few trainers, it was receiving less and less funds from the WAAL, causing the local economy to slowly fall apart.
