Her heart couldn't beat. Her brain couldn't think. Her lungs couldn't take in oxygen. Her body couldn't move. Dead. Despite all of this, on May 21st 2017, Ember's feet walked through Earths rich soil. Her hair flew in the wind. And the sweet air filled her lungs. Scientists had been secretly researching how to bring the dead to life. To most, it was a miracle. But to some, it was wrong. They believe dead should stay in Irkalla.
