To many, the word Alpha reminds them of werewolves. The snarling beasts that act and smell like dogs... because they are dogs. And for heavens sake, how could someone be attracted to that? At least, that's what Lucia thought. She knew that supernatural creatures co-existed with humans, but she chose to ignore the fact. Werewolves, vampires, fairies, witches, the list could go on and on. She had friends of the supernatural kind, and she knew how their world worked. They had completely different rules than humans did, and yet they made it work even when being entwined with humans. Though, one man in particular could send everyone reeling in fear. He was the Vampire Alpha. The beast that could howl in the night but also suck blood from a measly human. He "owned" his own pack of werewolves but was also respected by his vampire family.
