Dissonance
It was inevitable, and she knew it. They're about to reach the ending of their melodic world, but she had to accept it--she doesn't have a choice. All she could do is wonder if it would still leave a bitter scent of lemon even if she pressed reset and start all over again. Her mind floated in a dark and silent void, but the horrid sound of dissonance kept ringing in her ears. She closed her eyes. The sand has accumulated, filling half of the glass.
