It was worse than a punishment from the gods, with the souls of the fallen ones still remaining to fight for the honour and protection of the home they once had, for their stories lost among the land of war, and for the glory they have given in exchange of the blade of memories, witness to their sins, losing themselves into the chaos of fate.
