Diffident [dif-i-duhnt]Lacking confidence in one's own ability, worth, or fitness; timid; shy.Resolute [rez-uh-loot]Characterized by firmness and determination, as the temper, spirit, actions, etc.Alexander Hamilton, hailing from Brooklyn, can only be described as a person of a diffident manner.
