As soon as he walked in, he covered himself in blankets, flopping down on his bed with a small creaking sound. He squeezed his eyes shut, hoping to find some sort of comfort in his dreams.. But he felt a small trickle of warm liquid land on his cheek. He felt extremely relieved, thinking that it was at least his father leaning over his bed to tease him of how he overreacted to nothing, but.. No one was there.
