For as long as mankind can remember, Human and genetically enhanced Animals have lived together in the land of Avallonn. Never have they been on the greatest terms, but they have learned how to live together in the most peace that they can get. The Humans have learned to fear the Animals and keep their distance, and the Animals have done the same. The Humans and Animals figure that the more distance they put between each other, the more peaceful things will be. Over the years, Humans have learned to detest the Animals that live near them; and Animals have learned to despise the Humans that live together in towns that destroy their homes. As long as they stay away from each other, both species' have agreed, peace can be maintained. But it will not last forever, especially with an ancient threat on the rise. The Animals and Humans must learn that they rely on each other for peace to remain settled over Avallonn, and once they unite, the key to peace will be unlocked. This book is owned by me! I own these characters and the plot. I Am Here is based on a dream that inspired me to make a story. The land they ruled peacefully was named Avalon. Each kingdom was made up of a species. North was inhabited by Elves, South consisted of Mountain Lion people, East was ruled by Deer-like Centaurs, and West was crawling with Wolf people. For centuries, the kingdoms ruled their tribes peacefully and faithfully. No kingdom was the most thriving. No ruler was haughty, arrogant, or selfish. They all took care of their people. Until the West fell. No one knows why the West fell or what took it, but the rulers's futile attempts to communicate with the king of the Western Kingdoms always failed. Some years went by, and eventually, the kingdoms let it go. They knew not what took the West, but they figured that there was no going back to the way things once were. The kingdoms continued through their lives as if the West never existed. Reyna, the princess of the Elves, finds out the hard way that the West hasn't fallen - in fact, it's beginning to rise to power. If the king can get his hands on her, the princess of the now most thriving kingdom, he will be able to take all of Avalon. Bulkhead wakes up in a room. He's injured. He doesn't know how he got there. He finds himself surrounded by other cats, ones that are like him. More and more cats are invited in, while Bulkhead is bedridden. He feels useless, only good for talking to his new friends. The bad news that makes him feel even worse: His memories have been jarred out of place. He only remembers flashes of this, snippets of that. He can't believe how useless this makes him. The medic has to occasionally keep him under constant eyes, and Bulkhead can barely move without pain. Soon, humans come into their lives. The cats don't know what to do, but soon my allies with the three teenagers, must to Ratchet's discomfort. Things start spiraling out of control afterwards, at least for Bulkhead. His memories are coming flooding back and dragging him into self-doubt and pain. He doesn't know how to take in his past memories...…
