Pick your dream job or... the job that your parents want you to do. Branch Timberlake is just a freshman that just started out in College. His draconian parents want him and his little brother (Ace) what they want them to be, and that job is being a businessman. Branch and Ace don't want that. This is what makes Branch pessimistic. Branch loves music, Ace as well. They want to be in the music industry. During his first day of College, an acapella (soon to be show choir) group helps him find his passion. But during the rehearsals, he makes friends with an optimistic girl. Pink hair, always smiling and a bit naive. This girl is called Poppy Kendrick. He soon falls in love with Poppy, each time they spend time together Branch's heart beats faster. Poppy, though, has eyes for a nice boy called Creek. What she doesn't know is that he is a player.
