My Universe

When a Character is Born
Ever wonder how people get inspired to create their story and characters? This is a summary of the things inside my head when another set of inspirations came to mind. The characters here are all previously copyrighted, so if you are a jerk that can't come up with your own ideas, by all means go ahead and steal this article so Mattel and whatever other companies involved can sue the pants off of you! Other than that, kickback, enjoy, and maybe this process will inspire you to create something new. I am an 80's child, so things like "My Little Pony" were very much beloved in my childhood. I had several figurines of them, and in my late thirties my mother found them in the attic, and now my kiddo's are playing with them. It's not the same playing with them as I was a kid, though my kiddo's will ask me and find me to be very entertaining when we play with them. I guess that's what inspired me to day dream about them in my head, and eventually make a story about them. (That will be a different book. This one is the rare in between look that went inside my brain.) I hope this story gives you new ideas and you take some beloved characters of your own and give them your own twist.
