Riku Ikeda is a ghoul. He was born and raised in the 25th ward. His mother was a stay at home mom and his father was a banker. Riku was happy, and he loved him family. One day, when Riku was only 10 his father came home panicked and told them to start packing their things as quickly as possible. Riku and his mother did as they were told. While Riku was busy packing his things he heard the sound of someone banging on the front door, then the sound of the door being broken down. He quickly hid and tried to be quiet. When his mother walked into his room bleeding he began to cry. She smiled at him and hugged him, then pulled her necklace off and put it in his hand and kisses his forehead. She smiled at him softly with tears running down her face and said, "I love you so much.....Run Riku and don't come back" Those were the last words he ever heard his mother say as he grabbed his bookbag full of clothes and quickly fled through his window.…
