He was only five when a hurricane took both his amazing mother and horrible father away. Marquis de Lafayette was only seven when his parents packed up and left, leaving him to come home to a empty and abandoned house. Alex and Gilbert ( one of his many names) found each other at the graham windham orphanage. They were inseparable after that. But what happens when a lovely couple comes in and adopts them? Hamilton adopted AU. Aangst, fluff and everything in between. No ships. Except Martha x Washington.
