yup, this story is kinda inspired by my history teacher showing us pictures he took while on his trips around the worldand this book is historical fiction, none of these characters are real. On August 13, 1961, the berlin wall was made. That same year, is when 13 year old Finn Müller and Marie Fischer were just playing outside one day, until Marie had an idea to try to climb the wall to see what was on the other side. Finn, however, didnt like Marie's idea and just stayed behind. Marie thought that Finn was just being a scaredy cat but Finn knew what he was doing.
