Däralekk is a grey elf, the most powerful species known to the inhabitants of Alagaësia. He has awoken from his slumber in the elven city Araduthrëa, and the elves quickly take him in as one of their own, rashly placing him in charge of all of Du Weldenvarden, which leaves Arya with nothing to do but to follow Eragon into the lands beyond Alagaësia.
