I had thrown one bag of popcorn into the microwave. Alice was in my bedroom and she didn't want to get up so I let her stay there. When the first bag was done I grabbed another one and threw it in. I waited two minutes then grabbed the two popped bags and put them into a large silver metal bowl. I went back to my room to find Alice on her phone.

"Tanner you left a bag in the car,"

I sighed and went to grab it. Just the I got a FaceTime call. It was from bear

"Hey man, sorry Mateo and I have been so distant lately. We've just been hanging out with our other friends and I called to let you know that we're leaving for Hawaii tomorrow so we'll just swing by grab our bags then leave since I'm sure to and Taylor have stuff going on," he rambled

"First of all okay and second of all Taylor and i broke up. I caught her cheating already and it'll be fine. Also when you come over I might have a friend over. I dunno if she's gonna go home tonight or not,"

"Oooh is tanner doing some stuff tonightt," he drug out his words

"If by stuff you mean movie then yes" I laughed

I walked up i the door and opened it still talking to bear when I heard Alice in the kitchen

"Oh god nononononono,"

"God damnit where does he keeps his bowls," she muttered

I held my finger to my mouth telling bear to be quiet.

"I'm so stupid. He is going to kill me oh no," She shuffled around the kitchen

"Alice what did you do I stepped around the corner to find Alice sitting on the counter with not only the popcorn I popped but an additional 10 bags

"Allison Jane What in the world did you do?!"

"Oopsies," she said

"The bowls are on the left side of the sink. You're gonna need like five bowls," I turned the camera around to show bear. I then paused him and got on Snapchat to take a video of this

"Hey Alice What did you just do?"

"I popped 10 bags of popcorn and split three all over the floor,"

"You didn't tell me that part!" I looked at the floor over by the microwave at the exploded bags and start laughing

Once we get everything into bowls we head back to my room. By now it was around 7:30.

"Alice how are we going to eat this all?"

"You haven't seen me with popcorn before Tanner,"

When I opened the door to my room my bed was a mess. There were so many blankets stacked on top and it was kinda rolled into a circleish. There were pillows and in all honesty it look comfy. Alice jumped and landed on the bed but she sunk a little because of the blanket mass.

I got into the bed as well and I grabbed the remote. I got on Netflix.

"What kind of movie do you want to watch?"

"Hm, I dunno. You pick,"

I moved the cursor over and picked the horror section. Alice wasn't paying attention. I selected The Visit. I pressed it before Alice saw and movie night began. It started off normal. Alice and I laid on our stomach with our feet to the headboard. The movie then stared to take a climb. The mood became eerie. A little while into it the grandma came running and Alice screamed. She put her head down and she tightened.

"Alice it's okay see look," she looked up and the movie was back to normal.

Somehow Alice had became closer to me every time she screamed. Which was a lot. Soon our sides were touching. I nonchalantly wrapped my arm around her pulling her even closer. She relaxed a little.

The movie had ended and Alice was shaking.

"I'm picking out the next one," she snatched the remote from me and picked one. So it was fair I didn't look.

When I looked up I saw that she had put on Dirty Dancing.

"So we aren't watching the notebook?"

"I'm not that basic," she laughed

"You've got a point," I laughed

"Oh lover boy," Alice sang along with the movie

"And if he doesn't come..." the movie sang

"Oh lover boy," she sang again

"And if he sill doesn't come," the movie sang again

"TANNER I CALLED FOR YOU SO GET YOUR BUTT IN HERE!" She yelled in what her response would be

"I mean... you're not wrong," I laughed

She laughed too

This time we have no distractions. Alice stares at my lips and went to my eyes then back. This time we both leaned in and finally we kissed. It felt so right. I'd never felt like this with anyone else before. Not even Taylor. We not pulled away at the same time and looked into each other's eyes.

"Well then," she snickered which caused my to burst out laughing

"I guess third times a charm right?"

"Yeah.. I guess so," she replied
