Illéa has never been so broken before. Even though technology has advanced to limit all struggles, androids are on the verge of full life, and many advancements to normal life are taking place, many of the people of this country want a new start. Their ruler, after an eleven-year-break in which the castle mysteriously shut down, had forgotten the state of the country and thus it had fallen to pieces.

Most of north and west Illéa have been captured by the rebels, making a new land for anyone who decided to run from the caste system and monarchy in the east of Old Illéa. Only twelve provinces remain, and every one on the border of the land of the Rebels and the Monarchs is very much a possible war zone. The castle has formed an army of volunteer citizens that was to bravely fight the harsh rebel community out of the water. Still, the Rebels prevailed, through going as far as palace spies.

In the midst of a revolution, the castle chooses to have a selection. The king had taken no other choice in the matter, for his son had come of age and was ready to face the hardships of risking life as a royal.

The Fort. Squad, which is the name of the trained army, had only grown slimmer with the constant pressing-in and decreasing population of Old Illéa. Will the Rebels attack and take the entirety of the Illéan peoples' homes before the selection over? Why would they hold a selection now, of all times? Who really are the rulers of Illéa?
