22. Talk

- Chapter 22 :

"Do you think that I said too much?" Sohee felt her head go down in shame as she regretfully stared down at her feet, fumbling with her fingers. Yoongi watched her carefully from the other side of the room as he sighed and sunk deeper into her mattress.

He was tired.

She was tired.

Everyone was tired at this point.

"I think you told him good and bad news. He probably feels better knowing that your alive and can come back to him, but he's probably disturbed knowing that you aren't with him, and that he cannot see you. He'll be pissed knowing that he lost all this time with you, and that you were right here the whole time."

Yoongi sat next to Sohee and patted her back with a small grunt. Sohee had her face buried into her hands, shaking her head as small tears poured out. She never intended for Hoseok to hate her. She never intended for this whole mission to go wrong.

"I have to meet Jihyun today." She suddenly realized, remembering the date her sent for her to return to the company for a missions briefing. Panic settled into her eyes as she clawed for Yoongi's shirt collar, tears streaming down her cheeks.

"Yoongi, I don't want to go. I can't go h-he'll kill me!" She exclaimed. She'd never been this scared of Jihyun. But now Hoseok knew that she was alive. She had to come back. She had a reason to come back, and that made Jihyun ever more terrifying.

Yoongi felt enveloped with desperation as he stared down at the closest female friend he had. "Do you want to tell everyone?" He whispered as Sohee went deathly stiff for a moment. Then she started shaking, not a small shake that people perform when it's cold, it was the shaking people did when there was a present terror lurking around them, waiting to go in for the kill.

"No!" She screeched, hugging Yoongi as she buried her face into his chest. It was too much. Years of abuse was finally getting to her mind as she couldn't think anymore. Nothing made any sense. She felt hands all over her as she wept into Yoongi.

She was slowly going mad.

Yoongi held her protectively, his arms around her as he worriedly checked her tear washed face. He could see the stress lines that garnished her face, the way her young face had lost its innocence since the last time he saw her, since she was Tinuta.

Yoongi bit his lip in worry and stroked her hair, feeling a little guilty knowing that this was Hoseok's job. Instead he closed his eyes and kissed the top of her head, calming her. "Tinuta, it's okay, calm down." Yoongi knew it wasn't okay. And she knew it to, however it was better to be lulled into a false sense of security then facing the reality at that moment.

Hoseok stood close to the corner as he watched Yoongi hug Sohee, a show of affection. Hoseok felt his blood run cold at the sight, he really was being betrayed by his own hyung.

Hoseok felt the hate for Sohee grow uncontrollably until all he saw was red. At that moment all he wanted to do was hurt her and let out his anger. But he couldn't do that.

His reputation as JHope of BTS was on the line. He couldn't live a normal life due to any of it. He felt his stomach churn as he walked back into the building, abruptly pausing.

He could take this chance to find out where she was going. If he found something useful he could use it again her and find out where Tinuta was. Hoseok imagined feeling her arms around him as he smiled to himself.

He silently hid behind a car as Yoongi walked past him back into the dorm, waving back at Sohee one last time. Hoseok couldn't believe his hyung, a girl over himself?

As Hoseok followed, he felt a dread creep into his stomach. Sohee was walking deeper and deeper into corner streets and sketchy places. Where exactly was she going? What did she do other than teach them dance?

Hoseok paused when Sohee walked into a dark colored building, humongous in size. It was a creepy and dreadful aura around it that Hoseok desperately wanted to walk away from.

Instead he stood there for some time, watching and waiting for Sohee to come back out.

She didn't emerge however.

Hoseok checked his watch, it'd been twenty minutes. He felt impatience swell inside him as he wanted to know what was happening inside, too scared to actually go inside however.

His phone buzzed as he picked it up, sweating when Yoongi's face popped up on the screen. He slowly picked it up and held it to his ear as he waited for the other line, still bitter towards Yoongi.

"Hoseok where in tarnation are you!?" He called angrily, punctuating all his words. Hoseok felt a little amused, knowing that he could get back at Yoongi soon. He was going to get his evidence.

"Don't worry hyung. I know she's been tricking you this whole time. She just walked into this sketchy looking building. I'll show you her true colors." Hoseok whispered as Yoongi stiffened on the other end of the line.

"Hoseok. Jung. Fucking. Hoseok. Tell me you did not follow her." Yoongi growled in a deathly voice, slow and unnervingly calm. Hoseok gulped and answered back yes, about to say something else when a high pitched scream emitted through the air.

Yoongi and Hoseok both held their breaths, wondering where that sound came from before the finally realized it.

That voice that let out a blood curling scream was far too familiar. And it finally added up.

"Tinuta!"
