Seonghwa's POV :

"HEY HYUNGGGGG!! I'M HUNGRYYYY.... WAKE UP!" Jongho's loud scream woke me up. "What the hell Jongho, you don't have to scream in my ear everytime! It hurts" I said annoyingly rubbing my ear. Jongho giggled and ran away before I could hit him.

"It feels so good to see you waking up this late, hyung" Hongjoong was just above me, leaning from the top bunk. His overgrown red hair covered almost 3/4th of his small face. He immediately got down, almost tumbling down the ladder. (as usual)

"You're just too clumsy Hong" I teased him. He blushed and immediately went in the living room. What a crazy leader we have haha.

I lazily wore my comfy puppy slippers and looked at my phone. It was almost 10. Just two hours left for the audition....

Thankfully, I didn't have a hangover.
I quickly freshened up and got dressed and went straight in the living room. Mingi was running behind Jongho for some reason (with a knife in his hand). San, Wooyoung and Yunho were laughing so hard that they were actually gasping for air.

"Yesss, just kill that maknae hahahha he keeps annoying everyone."

Mingi saw me entering the living room.

"Oh Seonghwa hyunggggg, we are hungryyyyy, I want bacon! Please make bacon todayyy. And none for Jongho." Mingi stopped chasing Jongho. Yunho and Wooyoung immediately started looking at me their usual puppy eyes. "Yaaa bacon!"

Sigh. These kids. Just when are they growing up?
"OKAY boys, I'll go make breakfast then..." I hurried to the kitchen and soon, breakfast was ready.

Everyone pounced on bacon as if they haven't tasted bacon in their entire life. "Ah, I'm full." "That was so tasty!" "Seonghwa hyung's cooking is the best" "Thank youuuuu"

There was a big smile on my face. Even though they are annoying little brats, seeing them happy makes me happy.

"Oh, it's 11.30 now.... Yeosang will be here by 12, you all remember right?" "Yeah, whatever" Wooyoung rolled his eyes, as if he didn't care. "What is wrong with you Woo? Be nice to Yeosang okay? He's gonna come here for the first time. Don't be so salty!" "Huh, I'll try" saying that Wooyoung went back to his room. Everyone gave each other confused glances. It is unusual to see the 'forever happy and energetic' Wooyoung act all cocky. There must be something really wrong.

Everyone shrugged and soon dispersed. "Mingi, don't even try to sneak away... It's your turn to do the dishes!" "Aaaaa nooooo mom, pleaseeeee, not today!" "No excuses!" I stayed stubborn.

It was exactly 12 when we heard the door bell ring. "Whoohoo, must be Yeosang. He is so punctual!!" San happily ran to open the door. "Annyeonghaseyo". Wow, his deep voice. It's just so soothing. "Welcome Yeosang!" San guided him to the couch.

Wearing a white loose t-shirt and casual light blue ripped jeans, he entered with a smile. He greeted everyone before Hongjoong told him to sit down.

"So, let's get started immediately, shall we?" Everyone nodded excitedly.
"We will take your interview and audition and then we will take a vote. Everyone is free to ask him questions, okay? You ready?" "I'm ready!" Yeosang looked much more confident and talkative than yesterday.

"So, Yeosang. First tell me... What is music to you?" Good question leader. Let's see how genuine he is.

"Well, music is the only thing that comforts me. To me music is an escape which is a transition from the real world to my own world. The world no one knows about. Here,in this imaginary world of mine, I'm a free bird and music is the only thing that makes me feel that way" "hmm... okay" Hongjoong seemed impressed.

"I will ask next! Do you rap or rapping is not your thing?" Mingi looked expectantly. He probably wanted wanted a new rapping partner.
"Umm no, I love rapping but I don't think I can do it well.... It's pretty much difficult and only few people are able to do that. Rapping is not everyone's cup of tea!" There was a big smile on Mingi's face. "Yeh, ofcourse!"

Okay, this guy sure knows how to sweet talk huh? I wonder what other qualities does he have.

"I want to see your dance... Music please" for the first time in his life San looked serious. Yunho immediately played 'The eve by EXO'

Yeosang managed to flawlessly dance to the original choreo. His moves were perfect and his body too. So hot! So damn hot! Oh God.

San and Yunho started clapping excitedly. "I love your dancing! I loved how you added your own style!!" Yunho seemed happy. San was smiling brightly (again) giving Yeosang a thumbs up.

"Let us listen to your vocals now. Sing any song you like." Jongho tried his best to act like a judge. "okay, I would like to sing 'Baby don't stop by NCT U'"

He started singing. His voice was deep, which matched the original song perfectly. Jongho was listening carefully. I closed my eyes. I was enjoying... What is this feeling? His voice is so warm... My heart feels warm... Everything about him feels so... different.

As soon as he finished, everyone was giving each other quick glances and nods. "I like your voice. It's unique." Jongho approved. "Alright then, Wooyoung and Seonghwa hyung, what about you both... Any questions?"

"Yes, I have a question. Just give me atleast one reason why we should let you join our band. Other than your dancing and singing skills, ofcourse." Wooyoung was standing next to San with folded hands. I had never seen him talk like that before.

"Well, I can manage to find a studio for us to work in. Also, I have a friend's relative who works in an entertainment company... Basically, I have a LOT OF CONTACTS. And my friends will be happy to help." Everyone looked surprised. A shy boy like him had so many friends? Now that's weird.

"But, you look so shy and introvert... How-" "I'm good at making friends, I guess?" Yeosang said with a bright smile. "I knowwwww" San literally ran to him and put his arm around Yeosang.

"Tch, fine... San, we get how close you two have become." Wooyoung sat on the couch, accepting his defeat.

Everyone was now looking at me. It was my turn to ask him question. I thought for a while and finally spoke...

"You say you have many contacts right? So why do you want to join us? You could've joined any band you like." My question was simple but I was curious. Everyone looked at him curiously. There was silence for a short time. Finally he spoke.

"I've heard a lot about you guys... Kev always keeps telling me how hard you all work and how talented everyone is. Joining this group is like a dream come true for me. I respect you all a lot.... Also, I didn't want to join just any band only because of my contacts. It's like an insult for artists. So please, let me be a part of your band. I promise to work hard... "

Smooth. Real smooth.

Everyone was in awe,continuously glancing at each other.

"Alright.... Looks like everyone's done asking him questions. Let's discuss and vote now. Yeosang, could you please wait here? We need to discuss." saying this, Hongjoong signalled everyone to follow him to our room.
