"so then, why do i hear only one pair of footsteps?" taehyung whispered as the hairs on the back of my neck flew up.

"w-what do you mean?" i trembled feebly, hearing the abnormally slow feet. indeed there was only one pair. i was about to say something when we all cringed, the sound of nails digging into the wall following.

"i've found you!" we heard a voice as i immediately jumped, shaking intensely.

"we have to fucking run." taehyung said as jungkook helped me up, jimin standing close. "but the hyungs-" "the hyungs can find us later! they won't be able to if we all die here however!"

the lights began flickering as taehyung led us out, our feet silently scraping the floor as tears gathered in my eyes. never in my life was i so scared.

"we need to find them as fast as possible and then skirt out of here." jimin said as i nodded, jungkook running faster.

i dared to peek back and held my free hand over my mouth when i saw the lights in the hall behind us flickering as the wall kept being scraped.
