MARKUS
... Markus...
The Five of us sat still looking at or in the direction the savior of androids himself in disbelief and awe. Simon slowly stood up with a small smile on his face. "Is that you Markus?" He asked with a shaky voice trying to find his way out of the circle of beanbags. I stood up and led him out of the circle. "Will you need me to lead you to him?" I asked Simon in a hushed tone. He nodded. "Yes, thankyou (Y/N)." He said with a small smile. "No prob." I say as he gently grabs my arm, his left on my lower arm, and his right on my upper arm.
I look ahead towards Markus and slowly walk over to him noticing two other people behind him looking at us with disbelief, sorrow, and a hint of joy in their eyes. Markus begins to walk towards us with a stoic look on his face. The entire room had gone silent as all of their eyes were on us, but mainly the man walking before us. His steps began to get more hasty as we got closer to one another, with excitement and a bit of worry in his eyes. He got rid of his powerful stance as he rushed his way to the android. I pull from Simons soft graps on my arm and lightly tap his back as a way to tell him to continue walking. He understood and walked slowly with a smile on his face.
Once they were close enough Marcus skipped a step, pulling simon into a tight embrace, making the blind man stumble a bit, But he quickly caught his footing, holding on tight to Markus.
I smile at the scene before my eyes and fold my hands together appreciating their relationship with each other. I look over to see the two others walking over in my direction. One a woman with flattering curves, a bit of a light almond tone, and brunette hair. She wore a black v-neck sweater with a pair of white jeans and brown boots. The man trailing behind her was tall and lanky, black, and short hair shaved down close to his scalp. He wore a white long sleeve shirt, a thick vest over it, with a pair of fitted denim jeans, and some black converse. I smiled at the two and began to approach the two, expecting a smile or wave in return.
I got a small wave from the man, but the woman only gave me a sort of cold look. I shivered under her gaze but shrugged it off, abruptly stopping a few feet from them, they did as well. "Hi, I'm (Y/N)." I say happily. The man steps in front of the woman and introduced himself. "Hello, I'm Josh, And this is North." He says as he pulls out his hand. I shake it and smile again. "So are you also acquaintances with Simon?" I ask as I pull from the hand shake. North steps in front of Josh to speak. "Yes. We were wondering how long it would take for Simon to leave rehab so, Jerico can have some extra support." She says with a stern voice which I counter with the opposite. "I've actually been coming here for a while now so all I need to do is give him some therapy sessions every weekend up until he's comfortable around humans and whatever else might make him tic in the back of his head. So at most it will be about six months and if he chooses to cooperate it should be half that. And he seems like a good patient so it may make it easier to help him." I say kindly. North looks away for a second to think and runs her fingers through her hair. "So he should be out in three months if he chooses to cooperate?" She asks still looking off. I look in the same direction to see Simon and Markus happily talking with each other. I smile. "Yes. Sadly I'm the only human wanting to help androids with therapy so we might have sessions in the middle of the night." I look to her. "Miss North, If you know any humans that want to help this cause, please bring them here. It would be a blessing." She looks at me with large eyes mouth agape, and nods after a minute.
I grin. "Thank you." I say before Simon and Markus make their way over here.
"So your the human helping our people." Markus said.
I smile happily at his words. "That's me!" Markus nods approvingly and stretches his hand out towards me. "Nice to meet you (Mr/Miss)..." He trails off. I take his hand. "Just call me (Y/N)." I say as I take his hand and shake. He smiles and releases his hold on my hand. "I've explained Simons condition to North and Josh it should be at least three months to get him out and in the open." I say formally. His smile wavers at my words but then returns just as quickly. "Anything to help another member of JERICHO." He says patting my shoulder.
Josh receives a call and quickly answers it.
When the call is over he looks up in disbelief.
"They found Lucy...."
Everyone stops and stares at Josh as if he said Jesus is coming.
"... Who's Lucy?" I say to break the ice. They all turn to me and than back at each other.
Josh mimics clearing his throat and looks in my direction. "Lucy was Jericho's sort of nurse and spiritual guidance helper. She was more like a sickly and religious mother for us." I look at him with shock and give him a quick smile. "She sounds amazing! Why are you so surprised?" I ask putting my hands in the pockets of my jacket. Josh stays quiet and looks down at his feet. "Wait. What happened to Lucy?" Simon asks a bit of panic in his voice. Markus stands in front of Simon with sad eye's. "She uh.. She went down with Jericho. We thought she didn't make. We would have told you sooner but your system was down and we had no clue you survived. I'm so sorry Simon."
Simon looks down closing his eyes pain written across his face. I come to his side and lightly pat his shoulder. "Hey, at least they found her. Now they can bring her back just like with you. I know they will." I say supportively. Simon gives me a small smile and nods, and I smile back kindly. I grab him by both is shoulders and shake them vigorously. "Now get those jitters outta your system and smile like your getting married!" I say happily. Simon giggles and blushes a blue glow. I part from Simon to see Markus and Josh laughing at us and North giving me a small smile.
Josh soon stops laughing and announces that they need to head out soon. Simon says goodbye to everyone giving them hugs with a sad smile and turns back to me stretching out his hand towards me. I take it and he pulls me to everyone else whos looking at me expectantly. A little flustered with eyes on me I give them a small goodbye. They all smile and Markus pulls me into a side hug, Josh gives me a handshake and a big smile, and North shakes my hand with an approving smile. I smile back happily and walk back over to Simon and let him grab onto my arm and we wave goodbye to the small groupe as they exit the building.
