Nico's POV (like usual)

I held Percy's hand, sighing in content as I leaned my head against his shoulder. He kissed the top of my head, a tiny flash of light at the sound of his lips contacting my hair, and then kissed my cheek. I blushed, feeling much better.

"Thank you..." I mutter weakly, a dark grey hue flashing in the top corner of my right eye, like usual when I speak. I used to hate that color, but I learned to like it and get used to it.

Percy squeezed my hand, knowing that saying anything would result in my headache worsening. Throughout the day, it's stayed the same though, so I wouldn't worry if he mumbled something small.

"I love you." I muttered, scooting closer.
