Her eyes were a black whole. Sucking up every bit of sunshone in her words she muttered insultes and complaints. She who will not be named was one of many.
I the girl who held my breath and stood as still as a tree hoping not to be noticed.
He the boy who wanted more than insultes and names.
She who will not be named but gives everyone in this prison of a school a name that is not their own.
They stood hand in hand waiting for someday.
She tore their someday to shreds to make her own.
We hang bully free posters but we all know the truth.
Behind every poster she waited to haunt us. To taunt our insecurities.
In all the locker rooms, hallways, classrooms and bathrooms, they where always there.
But we stand united to hold each others hands waiting for our someday. Maybe if we hold our breaths long enough, hope for more, hang posters higher-
She who will not be named can't hurt us any more.
Your value doesn't decrease based on someones inability to see your worth.
She will see our worth because inside is a scared little girl who wanted someone to love her.
My enduring understanding is we all are monsters but inside of all of us is a heart waiting to be found.
She the girl who will not be named has found it planted like a seed deep inside of her.
