Merry Christmas

"Ready?"Gabriel asked softly, handing her a glow stick, a hint of worry seemed to have found themselves in his eyes at the moment.
Cindy took it from him and hung it around her neck. She stared at the cave like structure before them, something felt eerily familiar about the structure. She frowned a bit but entered after Gabriel when he prompted.
Inside it kept its rocky exterior, now holding a more musky glow that hung in the air. It was forcibly dark, no light entry at any point except those from their flashlights.
Cindy couldn't shake the haunting familiarity that she felt since stepping inside, like something was going to happen. Something fatal. Something she has seen before. It was on the tip of her tongue but she couldn't exactly remember what.
She stayed close to Gabriel and he made sure to stay close to her, she was just a innocent pajama wearing human after all.
Everyone was on edge, every movement they made might be their last. The tension could be felt as it flowed through them, linking them.
A sudden noise and disappearing of one of their own and a horrid cry erupted from Maggie as she watched the shadow she knew as Floyd disappear. Within seconds everyone had their weapons aimed at the spot that held Floyd only to find him on his knees.
"Tripped." He shrugged slightly, arms raised in surrender as he looked down to find a backpack clawed at and a crimson soaked shoe, as if the fear didn't course fast enough through their veins.
They quickly moved forward, Cindy's hands clenching around the machete as they found a few bodies, strange sounds reverberating against the walls. The odd feeling pushing against her chest, screaming at her to run.
Dean followed the sound of water coming to a small pool of water and what seemed to be a blocked passage. "Need some help here. " he said, glancing at the others. "To remove some rocks."
Gabriel left Cindy's side under duress to help Castiel since they were angels and rocks weren't exactly of great weight to them but knowing he left her defenceless which was a weight to him, thought others were formidable hunters he didn't exactly trust them to keep her safe.
Each individual stood on guard around the clearing as they waited. Sam tilted his head slightly as he looked at the opening in the wall when a vampire attacked Floyd, immediately springing into action to save the man while they attacked Maggie.
Sam had managed to keep most of them away, Cindy hadn't been particularly concerned after all no one gets hurt in dreams, only mildly traumatized. It didn't deter the fear when one was coming right at her, she had made a small cut on his abdomen as it came at her but not enough to even also him down before he chopped down on her arm.
A cry erupted from her lungs at the contact, Sam pulling the creature from her and decapitating it before moving on but as her eyes flicked from his to her arm that was leaking crimson at an alarming rate, it came to her. She knew this, she remembered this. Floyd falling, the rocks, he attack and then the last piece of the puzzle fell in place. Sam. Sam being dragged into darkness, bloodied and breathless.
Cindy gasped as it came flooding through her brain, she needed to save him, the only thought in her mind as she stood up, blooding trailing from her arm and staining her pajama pants as she picked up the machete and ran at the creatures like a crazed woman.
She hit them with the machete, slicing through the hoard and for a moment Gabriel stared at her in utmost fascination right before another had grabbed him, snapping him to reality once more.
With all the willpower one could fit within her body she fought but it wasn't enough as she watched much like Dean, how they tore into his jugular, watched the light leave his eyes as he called to Dean one least time before being dragged into darkness.
Castiel, being the angel he is, ran after them only to return a few moments later, shaking his head slightly. "He's gone."
Dean made the move to go after him only to be stopped by Castiel, the only one that could talk some sense into him at the moment. "We don't have the time." He stated, there was a mission and the portal could close at any moment.
