Master Jim had gathered all of us together in his domain to discuss something of major importance, at first I wasn't sure why we need to meet in his house and not in my library but I didn't argue because he sounded serious. Draal was already there along with Nari sitting around the table me and my companion were the last to meet in this mysterious meeting

I see master Jim sitting on the sofa looking like he's contemplating something, master streak appears out of his neck who also appears to be thinking, perhaps they are having a telepathic discussion

I decide to ask The son of the former troll hunter what is on: Draal do you have any idea why our brave troll hunter would call us all together in his domicile it's late at night?

draal shrugged: no idea, but he said he had something important that he wanted to discuss away from prying ears and eyes and he's been talking to his parasite friend ever since

Master streak suddenly shot forward straight into the previous troll hunter sons face:  don't call me a parasite!!!

Master Jim walks into the room and sits down by the table: streak calm down we got bigger problems to worry about

Symbiont knows he's told and returns to master Jim: i'm showman some of you are wondering why I called you here. Well this is gonna sound hard to believe but killer head bridge is being formed right here in Arcadia in the museum

By this my six eyes, they extend to the max along with my companion Draal nearly choked on his own tongue. It's impossible the pieces were separated thousands of years ago and then they were spread out across the world millions of miles away from each other how is it possible that someone could find all the pieces and reassemble them here

Nari explains: Jim Here has made contact with someone that's in the Janice order the secret order of changelings

My eyes widen again, as a gasp impossible those troll tenders were eradicated thousands of years ago they were lost it is impossible for them to survive so long and to think that our Trollhunter has made contact with one

Draal: how do you know you can trust this Impuros words

Master streak appeared: I have the ability to go into a persons post we questioned her and she told us everything, she even volunteered to be our spy in exchange for something else

My companion Aaarrrggghhh decided to ask: in exchange for what?

Master Jim: she wants to be human, apparently being one of the troll pretenders isn't all it's cracked up to be. She's tired of living a half life she wants to be human apparently she prefers her human form then her troll form so in exchange for her information and her cooperation I've promised that I can turn her about a 95% human thank to streak and his ability to morph DNA

That does seem like a good offer, and it also seems like something that master streak could do but the ethical question here is: Master Jim are you sure you can truly trust this spy not to doublecross you

Master Jim lets out a heavy sigh: I don't trust her completely and her whole Pinocchio act, but right now if the killer head bridge is going to be built here in Arcadia we need to be prepared even if it is just a lie

True, being prepared for nothing is better than being unprepared for something. But I still don't understand how our troll hunter go into contact with this troll pretender. So I decide to ask him: how exactly did you and master streak come into contact with this Pinocchio as you call her

Our Trollhunter explains: well you know the goblin thing, turns out the goblins were the ones gathering the pieces of the bridge, streak could track their scent so we followed it and we found the mother load of goblins we eradicate them all but then we ran into our spy after defeating her and taking her prisoner for interrogation, that's when she came clean about what she really wanted to be human and again I don't believe her completely even with streaks incredible ability to tell when people are lying but I still don't trust her completely that's why I haven't told her about any of you or how I haven't told her about us meeting here tonight

That seems clever with keeping her close but not too close so she could be a danger if she betrays us, i'm beginning to see why Master Jim did not want this meeting intro market too many prying ears and I is one word of this would send troll market into a complete and total panic

Nari: i'm not doubting your intelligence Jim but how do you know about the killer head bridge?

Master streak appeared: Well actually that's our doing, when we were given a brief compilation we kind of went through all the most dangerous things first is killer head bridge was on the top of the list

For good reason it is the gateway to the Darklands where gunmar and his dark horde are trapped, if the bridge is to be completed and opened again darkness with rain across the The world as the return of the gum gum King sends both human and troll kind into a war that has no winners

Aaarrrggghhh: what do we do?

Master Jim: Right now not much, according to my spy The Janice order have a very strict code they don't even trust each other with their identities other than the leader

I gasp, could it be the leader of the entire secret organisation of troll pretenders: dastardly those clever creatures they keep each other's identities hidden from each other that way if one is  court or turns traitor they can't write out any of the other members

Master Streak: Pretty clever, the only one person though that knows everyone's identity is the leader supposedly the leader of the whole Janice order you find him you pretty much find the entire order itself

Draal: oh I get it we find the leader and we beat him into poundcakes to give up all the members of his pathetic order

While the basic plan does sound barbaric it might be our best chance to completely destroy that horrible organisation, however the problem still remains of how?

Nari: yeah but how exactly are we supposed to find a creature that's probably created the word espionage, he or she has probably spent decades in the shadows controlling society how are we supposed to find that person

Master Jim gets up from his seat and grabs one of the cub off the table it's flat and looks more of a square then hands it to my companion who eats it, I will Trollhunter then sits back down in his chair with all of us looking at him rather confused: we're not gonna find the leader we're going to find the New changeling that arrived yesterday

All of us look at our troll hunter rather puzzled by his actions and he said, why wouldn't we go looking for this leader it seems like the quickest route for our action does it not

Draal: why would we go looking for the newest member of those Impuros, why not go straight to the source

Master Jim: because we have no idea who that is, I mean yes we know they're in Arcadia but that still leaves I don't know well over 900 residents, from we now the leader could just be popping into Arcadia for a short time to see how the progress of the bridge is coming along and then leave

Master Jim has a point, if it was me running a secret organisation and our most recent scheme would bring possibly the end of the world, but would also be caught on by the Trollhunter I would keep it at arms length that way if it fails I don't get caught and I'm free to keep scheming ways

Nari: you have a point, but why would we go after the New one?

Master Jim: because according to my spy this new one is going to have a meeting with the leader for his personal assignment

Oh that genius boy, it's a classic strategy of using the weak link to get to the strong link. It's remarkable we use the new one to get a detailed description of the leader and with that we can shut down the entire Janice order and put an end to the scheming

I cannot contain my excitement as exclaim to our troll Hunter: brilliant master Jim simply brilliant! A classic tactic incredible have you really thought that far ahead?!

Master Jim smiles: Oh yes I have Blinky in fact that computer that I gave Aaarrrggghhh I bet he ate I bought that off of Amazon and I used street here and his ability to connect into computers and other technology to hack into birth records and I printed some of them out

Aaarrrggghhh confused: why do that?

I begin to see master Jim's plan: because those trial pretenders get swapped with their human counterparts at birth or at least when they're still infants. So that means with the birth records we now have the names of all infants in Arcadia

Draal: that's good and all but wouldn't that still leaves a very long list of possible replacements even with all of us working together I doubt that we could search without being discovered

That is true unfortunately, I will search has narrowed down there is it is it is still searching for a needle in a haystack. We would not have enough time to search for one individual. Search like that would require time of which I fear that we do not have

However Master streak brings up my hopes again: well that would be the case if we didn't narrowed down to only 8 suspects for the replacement

My eyes widen I don't know how many more surprises I can take tonight: what how is that possible?!

Master Jim explained: it's quite simple really, you see the way I figure it changelings choose the families that they are going to have one of those replace very carefully for starters they probably want a child that doesn't have any diagnosed Heritage diseases or disabilities that are already known otherwise that would limit changing in its abilities and make it more difficult for it to blend in. Secondly they probably want a family that's a little distant with the children but not too distant maybe works late around the week and only comes a few days home after the weekend something that would allow them not to notice any subtle changes in their babies behaviour, Believe me a parent knows when something is wrong with their child. Finally from my spies report she says that this individual will be given the task of spying on me so would have to be someone close to me that has recently received a new family member and out of everyone that I have interaction with at least meet on a daily basis or see there are only eight families that meet those conditions

Fantastic, our search has been limited so little that it is barely even a search now. The masters truly are incredible they thought of every detail to find this leader and the quickest way to do it but there's still one thing we need to do

I bring up the main topic: must've not that I am impressed with your level of intelligence and ingenuity to do all this. But what about the main problem what about the bridge?

Master Jim: at the moment we can't do anything without showing our hand, For now we're going to have to trust what The spy says about the bridge only being about 40% complete. If we try to make a move will not only expose ourselves but will also expose The spy on and we'll lose our advantage so right now I need us all to play the fools we'll get a chance of the bridge but right now let's focus on getting our way to the leader is. And they should go without saying but don't tell anyone about this I know that you wanna trust Vendell but he could reveal the information to the wrong person/troll because if we can have a spy on our side who's to say...

Nari fishing the sentence: that they don't have a spy on their side

Master Jim: Exactly so for now we play the fools and continue to play this game. Now I know none of you are going to be crazy about working with a spy but right now she is our only advantage don't worry I'm keeping a close eye on her just to make sure she doesn't have a change of heart

That seems like a reasonable stratagem: alright Master Jim but what do we do in the meantime?

Master Jim: right now you guys do nothing except you Draal you continue to guard the house, Nari and me will look into the newest changeling. Aaarrrggghhh and Blinky you two try to make sure this whole thing stay secret, for now I don't want anyone trolls or man to get anything off of this

I don't very much like keeping secrets especially of a conspiracy, but master gym is correct this needs to be handled delicately right now we have an advantage that our enemy does not know about we should use that to as much as we can. I just hope we're not making a big mistake

Namora point of view

Master told me I did a good job getting the information out of my fellow member, truthfully I didn't mind having a bit of fun with her I never really liked her anyway. But I never expected her to squeal quite like she did regardless so I got the information and I now know why all the secrecy, they're building killer head bridge

It all makes perfect sense leader doesn't come out of hiding unless it's a matter of urgency And watch greater urgency is there the possibility of unleashing on total darkness across the world and blah blah blah.

I am so glad I swap sides I was never really on to the whole released until darkness and watch the humans die and finally our kind will blah blah blah. Never really made much sense to me why should we wait for someone else to give us our honour when we can earn it ourselves. Also it seemed a bit hypocritical for us to be trying to gain honour when rule number two of the assassins code was there is no such thing as honour.

I can't wait to be getting out of this Wanna be assassins Creek bunch, being a servant to the troll hunter sounds much more enjoyable. Besides at least that way I hopefully won't have to constantly be looking over my back in fear of backstabbers

Anyway back to the topic at hand master said that he was coming up with a plan but wouldn't tell me anything understandable it's because if I get caught I might spill everything so he's keeping me at arms length from now and also might be because he doesn't completely trust me yet which is why I need to earn his trust and therefore I'm going to bring the rebuilding of killer head bridge to a halt

I'm going to steal one of the pieces
