"No, Eun, this is not like our old school!" I said with a slight hint of frustration. Nearly 10 minutes had passed with Eun incessantly nagging me to skip the history class that was starting in 15 minutes.

"We will surely end up getting in trouble if we get caught," I continued, annoyed by her continuous rambling, as I stuffed my stationery items into my pink bag. Just as I was about to open the castle's map, Eun tugged me back.

"Come on, Chaeng!" Eun clasped my hands in hers and stared deeply into my soul, as if attempting to manipulate me. "Do you really want to attend that stupid lecture about how this castle was built with the help of flying horses and shit?"

A sigh escaped my lips as I removed my hands from her grip. Getting up, I shot her a stern glare. "Eun, it is literally our first class here. You cannot skip it just like that."

Eun sighed audibly and reluctantly got to her feet, muttering a begrudging "Fine." I couldn't help but wear a subtle smile, amused by her predictable reaction. As she reached for her books on the shelf, I couldn't resist a playful comment. "That's my girl," I teased, earning yet another eye roll from her. If she kept rolling her eyes like this, she might just risk them getting permanently stuck that way someday.

The corridor bustled with a scattering of children leisurely making their way through. Ignoring the distractions, I focused my gaze on the map, carefully tracing our intended route. It appeared that to reach our history class, we would have to navigate through the outer chambers of the castle, requiring a decent five minutes of travel time.

Eun, clearly unimpressed by the perplexing layout, muttered her frustration under her breath. "This feels like a never-ending maze," she complained. I couldn't help but reassure her, offering a glimmer of optimism. "Don't worry, Eun. We'll get the hang of it soon enough," I encouraged, hoping to soothe her annoying grumbling.

We walked through the corridor and made our way downstairs to the main hall. There were a few students roaming around, carrying their bags, laughing, and hanging out with their friends.

"Holy crap, look at that little thing!" Eun indicated to a cat walking around groggily across the room. "It's just a cat, what's the big deal?"

"It's Harley's cat, to be exact," Eun blocked the view of the black cat and paused a little, attempting to approach the creature, "I have heard it's not too friendly with the students."

My eyes went wide as she put forward her hand to pet the cat. "Then why the hell are you even going close to it?"

She bent down and gradually patted the little cat, who got frightened for a moment but soon relaxed under her touch.

"Because I like cats."

"Well, that's quite daring of you." Eun and I both turned around, shocked, upon hearing that familiar voice behind us. It was Jeon Jungkook here again, wearing a black tuxedo and, of course, that shiny Rolex around his wrist.

Eun raised her eyebrows, giving him a questioning look as she got up, straightening her uniform. "Petting Madam Harley's cat," he bent down, ruffling the cat's head while conversing in his deep voice, "no ordinary student dares to do that."

Eun bowed down and immediately said sorry, backing off.

"Why?" Jungkook turned around and looked at me, "Isn't it just an ordinary cat?"

I immediately heard him scoff at my words. "Chaeng, don't-" I indicated Eun to shut up by putting up my hand in front of her face. Jungkook took almost a minute to process my words and finally spoke back, "A normal cat? That isn't just a normal cat, little girl." He stepped closer to me until there were just a few inches left between us.

"Well, it looks like one to me," I smiled at him plainly, observing his veins popping off at my absurd responses. "Drop this attitude if you want to keep your position in this school, secure." My eyes stared deep into his as I half-smiled, seeing him so pissed.

My hand traveled to his chest, pushing him away a little, "Bring me something more intense next time, Jeon."

Eun's eyes turned as wide as saucers at the way I talked back to him. I walked off, dragging her along with me.

"Oh my, Chaeng, who possessed you?"

"Well, well, good morning, my lovely students!" an old lady with whitish hair, wearing a pointed hat, appeared in the middle of the room. Her fat-tiny fingers secured a huge book in her hands, labeled "SYLVANIA - A MIRACLE."

"Miracle, my ass," I muttered, audible enough for Eun to hear. "Oh, come on, that guy was right. You gotta drop all this hate for Sylvania if you really plan to study here."

"Just stop it, Eun. I'm not fond of this place like you are." I saw her sigh and shake her head in dismay at my reply. Just then, my attention went back to the history teacher as she spoke in her shrill voice. "Okay students, please tell me your names one by one."

The girl on the very front desk got up from her chair and observed everyone around her with a pleasant smile. "Greetings to my fellow classmates and my history teacher. I am Esther Bentley, from Britain, and really excited to study here!" Her aura was too cheerful, and for some reason, it sort of annoyed me.

"Very lovely, my dear! Where are you from in Britain?" the teacher asked as she indicated Esther to get seated down again. "Well, my father is from England, but my stepmother is from Scotland," she rambled confidently while glancing at the other students from time to time.

"Oh, wonderful! My niece is studying for her master's degree in England as well," the lady beamed widely, showing off her abnormally large teeth. Just when Esther was about to reply to her statement, the teacher interrupted her. "But my dear Esther, let's save that conversation for another time." Esther paused and just passed her a dissatisfied smile.

The guy behind Esther got up once those two were finished and began with his introduction. "Hey everyone, good morning. I am Shin Jaemin, originally from Seoul, but I have been brought up till 14 in New York." The guy was tall and surprisingly quite good-looking. Oh, my heart.

"Wow, so many foreigners in my new batch!" the teacher pinched Jaemin's cheeks happily, failing to notice his discomfort.

"Okay, next one please."

"My name is Kim Nari, and I am from Seoul as well," a short and plump girl got up from her seat and introduced herself. She appeared quite chubby with those pink cheeks.

"Lovely! Next, please."

Now, one by one, students went on with their brief introductions, and now it was about time I had to pass on mine.

"Hey guys, I am Kim Chaeng from Gwangju," I fiddled with my fingers nervously, observing all the students who had their stares fixed on me. "Um, yeah, that's it."

The teacher patted my back and indicated me to sit down, which I eventually did.

Shortly after, Eun gave her introduction, and others followed her as well.

"I think you all already know me, so is there still any introduction required?" All the heads in the room turned around, and there stood the one and only, Jeon Jungkook. My jaw tightened once I noticed that unnecessary smirk he held on his face.

Everyone nervously shook their heads at his statement, meanwhile, I just turned back and ignored him as best as I could. "Haha, of course not, honey! You may sit down." My eyes widened at the teacher's response. How unprofessional could this school get? Harley is really misusing her powers for this ungrateful brat.

"Why is he staring at you?" I was snapped out of my thoughts as I heard Eun lowering her head and whispering to me. My eyes immediately traveled to the back, and I really caught him staring right at me. Although, what I was not expecting was for him to wink at me.

"Wow, enemies to lovers is a very much possible plot here," Eun giggled as she observed the unattractive tension between me and Jungkook. I broke the eye contact just when I scoffed at her nonsense. Meanwhile, she kept giggling. God really needs to fix this creature.

"Alright students, now I'm going to request you all to open your books. Has everyone got their books yet?" Everyone nodded their heads in unison. There was an uncomfortable silence lying in the huge room. The brown fancy curtains were blocking the sunlight, allowing the darkness to engulf the room.

Ms. Min was chanting her revised script to the class, although not everyone seemed to be interested in it. My eyes traveled across the whole room, observing the beautifully designed architecture. Not going to lie, Sylvania really was quite a work of art.

I could still feel his strong gaze glued on me, but I didn't dare to turn around. There was no student sitting near him. Why did people have to make such a huge deal about this boy? They were scared of absolutely nothing.

Jungkook's POV:

"Now, that's a feisty one," I mumbled to myself while staring at the beauty engrossed in her own thoughts, sitting a few meters away from me. Her beautiful brown orbs looked dazzling under the dim light of the room. I carefully observed her pretty little hands, turning around the pages, as her shiny plump lips danced in the air, reading word to word.

I felt my hormones turning crazy, right in the middle of the class. I breathed heavily, trying to break my intense gaze, which was fixed on her. I was paying absolutely no attention to Ms. Min. For now, I only had this new girl on my mind.

"I am Kim Chaeng, from Gwangju."

Kim Chaeng, huh? Lovely.

I could imagine her petite self, under me. I could clearly imagine all the things I could do to her tiny little body. The way I would kiss her roughly making her squirm under my touch.

"Snap out of it Jeon!" My inner self snapped at me. But Jeon isn't going to back off this time. for me, this girl is no ordinary.

And what Jeon Jungkook wants, he gets.
