"I love you too Luke". I jumped into his arms. They all came running up and we sang All You Need Is Love and ended the stream. We then went to work on the biggest projects of our lives. The 5SOS album and the Amicorum EP.

It was Monday morning and it was the first day in the studio. I groaned and checked the time on my phone. 9am. I took a shower, put my glasses on and got dressed whilst Luke slept. I thought that I'd wear something quite different so I put on a bright tie-die dress and some converse. Serena was to pick myself and Luke up at 11 so I went downstairs to feed Petunia and take her to the bathroom in the garden. I made some cereal for breakfast and finished the song Hey Violet. I then went back upstairs, woke Luke up and went to the bathroom to decide what I was to do with my recently dyed mop. I went from my candyfloss colour to a black to pastel purple ombre which somehow worked. I decided to curl it slightly and mess with it a little. I looked at myself and decided that I wanted a lip piercing like Luke. I used to wear fake ones when I was younger but I decided to commit. I gave a local piercing shop a call and gave them a time I could go in. I popped a bit of perfume on and got my handbag ready. I popped my song notebook in with Serena's bass tabs and my piano notes. I quickly shoved some makeup on. Only some mascara, concealer and lip balm not in that order.  Luke came down and was wearing a black t-shirt, skinny jeans and converse. I was nervous about going into the studio and getting the five songs we had written recorded. I was ready to get it done but so nervous about it. Luke saw that I was nervous and grinned. "It's the first day of your new life. I've heard you and Serena practise and it sounds so good!". He pulled me in for a hug. "It's going to be okay". I heard the beep of the car and quickly grabbed my shoes, wallet, keys, prescription sunglasses, phone and headphones. Luke locked the door as I ran to the car. 

"Morning Rena!" I said and smiled as I jumped into the back of her car with Luke. Ash was grinning in the front. "I've got to go out in the middle of this. Hoping to pop out whilst you and the boys are taking a break at lunch". I said to Serena. She looked at me puzzled but nodded. I was beginning to panic a little but was prepared for this. I put my headphones in and began to listen to All Time Low when Luke poked me. I took my headphones out and he came close to me.

"You'll be meeting John but don't worry. This will be great. You'll have your EP in a couple of weeks, we'll have the album and things will be good. I'll be here every step of the way". Luke said and kissed my cheek. I giggled quietly and went back to relaxing. Serena stopped by Starbucks and I got a frappucino as I needed the coffee. We got to the studio in about an hour and I jumped out of the car to see John Feldmann waiting for us. "John!" Luke gave him a hug and motioned me to come over. I did and he put his arm around me. "This is Fae John". He grinned. John smiled at me.

"This is the famous Fae!" John stuck his hand out and I shook it. I smiled slightly. "Well I'll make you feel right at home!". He said confidently and I nodded. John greeted Serena and the boys and we headed into the recording studio. I sat down on one of the sofas as John explained how it was going to work. We decided to record drums first so Ash played drums for us. Once that was complete, Calum went to record the bass for the 5sos and I snuck out to go to the piercing shop which was a couple of minutes away. I walked in and got my lip pierced and went back to the studio. It was time for me to record some piano and guitar bits so I went in. I popped some headphones on. "Right Fae. Play the beginning of the song I Want Your Love on the guitar please". John said. I nodded and began playing. I finished the beginning and looked over at John who nodded. "Good!! This song and Hey Violet are going to be bangers!" I laughed as he said that. 

"I hope so John. Hey Violet means a lot to me!" I enthusiastically said. John asked me to record my guitar parts for I Want Your Love and finally brought Serena in to do vocals.

"Fae! That's what you were doing!" She said and pointed at my piercing and I started laughing as I put my headphones on.

"It's been a few years in the making and yeah! I finally took the plunge". I giggled. I looked over towards John who nodded and put the music on. We began to sing the song. This was Serena's song to Ash and I mostly did harmonising. We finished the song and I looked over at John who chuckled.

"That was really good!! Serena. Vocals are great, especially for the first time in the studio. Girls. It's the boys turn to get in". I nodded to acknowledge John and walked out. I sat on the sofa and listened to Luke sing. It felt as though I was in a trance. He was looking at me as he sang.

Luke was looking at me and I had a tear in my eye. Serena noticed and cuddled me but my eyes were fixated on him.

I was crying without realising. Luke rushed out, knelt down and hugged me. "Surprise honey". He said as I sobbed. I looked at him in a teary confusion. He smiled at me. "You've been having a rough time. I've seen the hate on the picture I posted, the hate in chat from yesterday's livestream, the hate on the Amicorum channel and I know you've seen it too. You've been through a lot and, although we were writing this song before we met you, I wrote this little bit when I really got to know you. I could see you were having a shit time of it all and I've dedicated this part to you Fae". He started to cry slightly. Serena sniffled and even John got emotional. Michael was filming this and started to sniffle. 

"We've dedicated that song and She's Kinda Hot to you two ladies. You deserve the world girls and we are proud to know you guys". Calum said. Serena and I looked at other in shock. I got up, grabbed my headphones, sunglasses, phone and walked outside without saying a word. I didn't know that to think. I started walking to the beach which was a couple of blocks away. I was in a bit of awe but freaked out. I felt as though I didn't deserve the things I had been given. I decided to Skype call my mum. After about 4 rings, she picked up.

Hey Fae. Glad to finally hear from you!

I laughed. Hey Mum. Apologies for not calling.

She chuckled. It's alright. Tell me. What have you been up to? We were watching your livestream and we are so proud! An EP! You'd better send us a bloody copy! She was laughing and cuddling the dog on the sofa of the family living room.

I will! If I can go back to the studio. I'm so embarrassed.

Fae! What have you done?

The boys were recording a song and they said that two of the songs on the album were dedicated to us. That's three songs now Mum!

And you walked away? You look like you're on the beach now. Am I right?

I showed her the beach. She sighed.

I get that it can be overwhelming but honey. You have worked so hard to get where you are and you've proved me wrong. Moving to Sydney was the best thing you could have done. You have matured as a person so much and I am so proud of you honey. Now go back to that studio with a smile on your gorgeous face and show those guys what you are made of.

I nodded, thanked her and said my goodbyes. I calmed down, got up and walked back. The guys gave me a hug when I went in. "We were about to call the cops for you!" Michael said and hugged me. 

"I'm okay. I just needed some air. Let's continue". I said and turned to John who nodded. He wanted me to do vocals for Hey Violet and I did with as much passion as I could muster. I looked up at John who grinned.

"Fae! Where did that voice come from?! That was amazing!" He laughed and I chuckled.

"No idea John!" I responded honestly. We then began to discuss music videos. The music video for She's Kinda Hot was going to be hilarious and then. It was mine and Serena's discussion. We knew we wanted a music video for Sydney Now, World Tomorrow. The fans have grown up with us and we wanted to get the people who had supported us from the very beginning. John had also decided that I was going to do backing vocals on San Francisco to make life easier by not hiring a singer. 

After we had finished the session in the studio, Serena drove back to Luke's house and we had a drink, some pizza and a jolly time. Luke was being weirdly quiet so I assumed that he was going to go and write some music. We were discussing how amazing life was and the EP and Album. More specifically the names. We were coming up with names for the EP when Michael said.

"How about From Langton Onwards? After your hometown and shitty school. Though I found it quite charming". I looked at him and turned to Serena with an open mouth. We both grinned and nodded. Michael seemed pleased. "Now. Onto untitled album two". We mulled around on names until.

"Sounds Good" Serena began.

"Feels Good". I finished. Ash turned to us.

"What did you say?" He asked in shock.

"Sounds Good Feels Good". I repeated myself a little louder. The boys looked at each other.

"5SOS! ASSEMBLE IN THE MUSIC ROOM DOWNSTAIRS!" Calum yelled and the boys went down there. I went to make an iced coffee whilst Serena and I chatted. After about five minutes, the boys came back up. I looked at them intently and they all grinned.

"Sounds Good Feels Goood" Ash said whilst laughing. We all laughed and hugged each other, knowing that the album name had been chosen.

 After they left, Luke turned to me. "Now that they are gone. You want to do something?" He asked. I walked into the kitchen.

"Depends on what it is Mr Hemmings?" I said and cleaned up a little. He stood by the oven and watched me clean up. He picked up my handbag and grinned. 

"A surprise!" He grabbed my hand and led me out of the door. He locked it and got into his car. A white 2015 Tesla Model S. He put on California Dreamin' and he drove. We stopped at a car park about an hour or so later. He went to the boot of the car and took out a picnic blanket and a gymbag. 

"Luke. What are we doing here?" I asked and got out of the car. 

"Having a date!" He said happily. I looked confused but started to embrace it. He held my hand and led me down a path to a quiet beach. There was a little cave in the rocks and thankfully, the tide was out.  He opened the gym bag and set up the picnic up and I went down to the water. The sun was about to set and it was warm. I became lost in thought. It had been eight months since we had started dating. Not long at all but it felt like forever. I had been thinking of life here in LA. I missed my home in Wales and my home in Sydney but I knew that we were going to sell that house anyways. We needed a bigger house for myself, Serena and the boys. Either that or we were going to have an extension built for us. We had submitted planning permissions but they needed to be accepted. I felt my phone vibrate and it was Serena.

Are you busy?

I texted back.

I'm on a date with Luke. What's up?

I'll tell you later. It's good news for us I promise!

I called her.

F: Rena! What's up?

S: WE'VE BEEN ACCEPTED!!!

I paused and grinned knowing what that meant.

F: ARE YOU SERIOUS?! NO WAY!!

S: YEAH!!! I'VE JUST HAD AN EMAIL AND IT'S HAPPENING!! OUR HOUSE IS GETTING THAT EXTENSION BOY! WE'LL BOTH HAVE NEW ROOMS AND ENOUGH ROOMS FOR THE GUYS!!!

I started to freak out and said my goodbyes. I smiled as Luke came over to me with his phone playing Wouldn't It Be Nice by The Beach Boys. "Hey Fae! What's up?" I jumped into his arms and sung along. He looked confused but joined in. "What's going on?" He asked as I snuggled into his chest. 

"The extension on the house in Sydney has been accepted. Two to three more bedrooms for us, a new kitchen and an ensuite for mine and Serena's rooms!" I smiled. He picked me up and held me. I then noticed that he had put the picnic out and I smiled. 

"I've got something in the car that you can change into. You can get changed further into the cave to get changed. No one will be around here". He said. I nodded and sat down whilst he went to the car. I tried to relax and enjoy this date. I was a bit stressed about the extension but our neighbours were really good friends of my family and I knew that they would do everything in our best interest. I closed my eyes and enjoyed the warmth. "Honey. Do you want to go and change?" Luke called for me. I opened my eyes and nodded. He gave me a small bag and I went further into the cave to open it. It was my 50s inspired swimsuit, a black kimono and a short, boho dress with a beautiful purple and red pattern. I popped them on and noticed that some of my favourite makeup was in the bag. I quickly put myself together and went over to see Luke. He looked at me and grinned. He had put The Beatles on and had shoved on some swim shorts. "Looking good there! You single?" He asked jokingly to which I laughed and responded.

"Some Australian man has taken my heart sorry!" We both laughed. He opened the picnic basket and I had a quick peek whilst sitting on the blanket next to him. 

"I picked up most of this when we went shopping". He explained as I saw a bottle of wine, two paper cups, some sweets, some sandwiches, fruit and some water. "We can get actual food on the way back". He said and I laughed. "Would you like to go in the water before or after we have a drink?". He asked.

"Before and after!!" I jumped up. He laughed as I stripped into my swimsuit.

"I knew you would say that. I'll be there in a second!". He said as I ran down to the water. It was warm so I walked in. Enjoying the warmth and the view of the ocean. I'm a massive water baby and a beach date was the best thing. I looked over to the beach and there was Luke. Only Luke. Nobody else which was the way that I liked it. I had a couple of hair ties so I put my hair into a braided bun and went further into the sea. I heard Luke coming and I pretended not to notice him. I could hear his phone playing music. Good Vibrations. He grabbed my waist and picked me up.

"Luke Robert Hemmings! Put me down!" I squealed. He put me down.

"The others have decided to join us and are a couple of minutes away. They are bringing a few tents and Petunia. Serena has also got some clothes and stuff. We've all decided to camp here. Also, Calum's doggo is coming". He said and I laughed.

"Serena agreed to this?! Last time her and I were camping, she got stung by a bee and complained about standing in cow shit!" I explained. Luke laughed. He looked at me in a strange way. I was confused.

"You look so beautiful today Fae". He said and I then understood that he was looking at me in a loving way. I blushed and looked over at the ocean, grinning slightly. "You're acting cute again. Whenever I say something cute you always look away and smile". We had gotten into water that was up to my chest so I began to tread water, making sure to not get water into my new piercing. Octopuses Garden by The Beatles came on and I started singing along. Luke laughed and started doing the oohs and aahs. I heard distant laughing and saw Michael and Calum run to join us. Calum holding Duke. 

"IN AN OCTOPUS' GARDEN WITH YOU GUYS!" Michael shouted and I chuckled. I could see Ash and Serena with Petunia setting up the tents and I decided to join them.

"PETUNIA!" I shouted and ran out to give her a cuddle. She ran to me, wagging her little tail and shaked. I picked her up and cuddled her whilst Serena and Ash laughed. 

"Looks like she's glad to see you!" Serena said and gave me a towel as I put Petunia down. I thanked her.

"She's good when it comes to camping. The boys and I have taken her before and she loves it" Ash mentioned and I smiled whilst drying off. Petunia came up and showed me her belly, demanding fuss which I lovingly gave her. "Can I have a hand putting up the tents Fae?" Ash politely asked to which I agreed. After about an hour of arguing and getting frustrated, we finally put the tents up. Serena had grabbed some wood so I lit a fire whilst Calum, Michael and Luke had a fight in the water. I sat down by the fire and watched Ash make food. The others were coming out of the water so I grabbed the towels and gave them out. Ash made hot dogs and we all just tried to relax. We had a session in the studio on Wednesday so this was our little stay-cation and it was well deserved. We had some very summery songs on and chatting with the people that I loved just made everything amazing. We discussed the tour that would happen after the boys had finished the album. I went into the tent midway through the conversation as I couldn't take it. Luke was going to be gone for a year and it was just a lot of stress on my behalf. Not seeing him for that long would kill. I sobbed slightly and Luke came into the tent. 

"What's up honey?" He asked when he noticed me crying. I crawled up to him and put my head in his lap. 

"You're going to go on tour soon. What am I going to do without you?" I sobbed into his lap. He ran his fingers through my hair.

"You and Petunia will be coming with us. We want you guys to come with us. I can't leave you two home. Lena and John have both said that it would be best as you cheer me up and Petunia is just Petunia". As Luke said that, she ran in and demanded cuddles off of Luke. We laughed. "Yes Petunia! Daddy is taking you and Mummy with me! We are going to go on so many amazing adventures and Duke will be coming so you'll have your best friend with you!!" Luke said in a cutesy voice. Petunia wagged her little tail and I laughed and grabbed my kimono as I was cold. "I'm going to put a shirt on and get out of these swimshorts so can you let the guys know". He said and I nodded. I left the tent and went to sit with the others.

"Surprise! Dukey is coming on tour with us!! Aren't you Dukeypoo?!" Calum said and kissed his dog. I smiled and enjoyed my time with my friends. Luke came back out and Ash brought out the alcohol. Ash gave me a bottle of vodka and two 2 litre bottles of Coca Cola. Serena had some WKD and rum whilst the others had gin, more vodka, whiskey and Luke brought the wine out. I know that's a lot but this was the first major drink we'd had for a while. Many things happened that night. Calum and Ash wanted to climb the rocks above us and Ash somehow brought the cars down to the beach. A feat I would have never be able to accomplish. Serena and I went down to the water and had a water fight with pistols that I don't even remember bringing. I think it was Michael and Ash who had that idea. Michael thought that screaming the lyrics to Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley which was hilarious. I filmed some of these events, especially when Luke and Michael were slow dancing to I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston. I managed to dance with Duke and Petunia to Rock Show by Blink 182. I cried to Calum and Michael about why potatoes were not able to fly. Serena and I danced to Delilah by Tom Jones and, of course, screamed the lyrics. What can I say? We are Welsh at heart. Knowing the lyrics are a must for any Welsh person. We all cried to Amnesia and Eleanor Rigby. We were all sitting around the fire until I got up.

"Guys. You know I love you all so much yeah?! I love every single one of you! Serena, you've made me the person that I am today and I love you for it. You're like my mum away from mum. Calum, you're the older brother that I've always wanted. You're a madman and you've inspired me to keep my rebellious streak. Michael, you're a fucking legend. You inspired me to wear plaid stuff and dye my hair stupid colours. Ash, you're like my dad. Always supporting me and telling me off".

"You've drunk too much Fae!". He said drunkenly.

"EXACTLY!! THIS IS WHY I LOVE YOU!" I shouted and hugged Ash and kissed him on the cheek. "Luke. You're the best boyfriend and I hope that one day you propose to me 'cuz I wanna marry you and be legal mammy to Piggy and I need to go to bed as Ima pass out. Marry me Lukeypoo!". I stumbled into the tent with my vodka, drank it, cried for no reason and passed out. 

I woke up the next morning to Luke's arm around me, Petunia cuddling up to me and my head pounding. I had somehow gotten into my pyjamas, still with my swimsuit on and didn't remember a single thing from the night before. I shimmied out of the Piggy/Luke sandwich and walked out of the tent straight to the ocean. I took my pyjamas off and went straight into the ocean to 'freshen up'. I noticed that Michael was already there so I walked over to him. He noticed and smiled. "So how hungover are you?" He asked and chuckled. 

"Relatively. What happened last night?" I asked. He laughed.

"You proposed to Luke, went into your tent, drank about three swigs of vodka and passed out". He said and I freaked.

"I DID WHAT?! OH MY GOD! I AM IN FUCKING DEEP SHIT! LUKE IS GONNA BE PISSED! WHAT DID HE EVEN SAY?!" I began panicking. Michael put his hands on my shoulders.

"Do not panic! We talked about it after we'd managed to get semi-sober and he found it funny. I'll let him explain it to you now". He looked over and I turned to see Luke. I cringed so hard. "Go get him kiddo". Michael said. I nodded and tried to calm down. I got out of the ocean, went straight to the bag Serena had left, grabbed my clothes and went over to the dark part of the rocks to get changed. Luke noticed.

"Fae. I-"

"Luke I am changing. I made a mistake". I said and quickly changed into the sundress that Serena had packed for me. I also noticed that the cars were gone so I assume Michael had moved them back to their original parking spots.

"Fae. About last night". Luke said whilst coming up to me.

"Forget the shit I said. I was drunk". I cried out.

"Fae. Listen to me. I know that you didn't mean it. But if you could, would you?" He asked sincerely. I looked shocked.

"Marry you?". I asked shocked. He nodded. "I guess but not right now!". I exclaimed.

"Not right now but maybe in the near future". He said. I looked at him perplexed. "Maybe after tour?" He asked. 

"Luke Robert Hemmings. We've been dating eight months. Why do you seem so keen?" I asked. 

"Because I love you Fae. You're all that I've ever dreamed of. Everyone thought Serena and Ash were going to start going out and get engaged and here we are. Ash is planning it. They say that about us. Will we ever be them?" He asked and I ran into his arms. I nodded. 

Over the next couple of weeks, life was made up of going to the studio, planning the boys tour, planning special guests for the tour, celebrating a late birthday for Ash, celebrating Luke's birthday and just mentally preparing for almost a year on the road but on the bright side. We decided to go back to Sydney after tour which was exciting and we'd planned a trip to Italy which was super exciting. What could potentially happen on tour?
