"That was good". He said and laughed. I chuckled. "Want to be my girlfriend?" He asked. I nodded my head profusely and kissed him. We then walked to my grandmother's house holding hands and staying close to keep warm. 

We got to my grandparents house and Luke knocked. I was hiding in the bush by the window but could see everyone through the window. My grandparents, my great-grandmother, my two cousins Quinn and Jacob, my auntie Saria, Uncle Nigel, Lainey, my parents, Serena and the other guys. My grandmother opened the door.  "Luke! Lovely to meet you! Come in! Come in! It's cold out there. Call me Carol or Grandma, whichever is fine". Grandma invited him in. 

"Thank you Carol. I've got a friend with me if that's okay". He smiled and the terrible five also grinned. Serena couldn't contain her excitement. 

"Oh! Of course! Where are they?". I got up and tapped the window by my great-grandmother's chair. They jumped, looked and screamed. "OH SHE'S HOME! Fae! Get inside!" Grandma scolded me. I laughed, got out of the bush and walked into the house. It was still the same house I knew and loved. I looked at it. The white stone, black beams on the ceiling and the wooden floor of the front hall always brought me so many good memories. Grandma could see that I was remembering my childhood and brought me in for a hug. "It's wonderful to have you back". Luke had taken off his coat and was wearing some black jeans, a white shirt and some brown boots. I looked at great-grandmother and grandfather and hugged them both. She was 95 and he had prostate cancer so I wanted to spend as much time with them as possible. Life is too short. We had a snack and a chitchat. Presents were next. We went down the stairs into the living room from the dining room and I began to panic as I'd left my presents at home. I jumped off of the sofa but luckily, mum had brought my suitcase with her. I thanked her and handed Quinn her present. I gave her an envelope with £200. She looked at me with shock and I smiled.

"Why have you given me this money Fae?" She asked confused. 

"You know we said when you were 14 and I was 16 that we'd get a tattoo together when you were older". I said and she began crying and ran up to hug me. I started crying and hugged her back. She was 17 so we were going to go when I got back from tour. 

"Fae! I didn't expect you to remember! We'll go when you are back for good!". She said and smiled. She then gave me a present. A locket with a picture of our family. "So you don't forget us on the road". I cried and thanked her. Luke came over to sit next to me. 

"That's so sweet". He said and put his arm around me. Serena immediately noticed and came over. 

"So what's this about then?". She laughed. 

"What's what about Serena?". I looked at her and winked. 

"Wait.. Did he? Oh my god guys! I knew it would happen! Michael! You owe me £20!" Serena laughed. Michael looked really upset for a brief second. Everyone had now noticed what was going on. 

"Fae. Have something to tell me?" Grandma asked.

"Luke and I are going out". I said cheerfully. Calum started clapping.

"Since when?" Grandma sounded really happy. 

Luke chimed in. "About an hour and a half ago". He laughed. We all chuckled. 

"Well. How did he ask you out?!" Quinn asked excitedly. She sat next to me on the sofa and I was feeling a bit squished in between her and Luke.

"We went on our walk, he sang me a song and things happened from there". Luke smiled as I said that. 

"So the song you wrote worked?" Michael chimed in. Luke nodded.

"Aww! Congratulations!!" Quinn said. I looked at my grandad and went up to him with Luke. He was sitting on a different sofa with my dad chatting.

"Grandad. Dad. Do you approve of Luke?" I asked. They looked at me and then at him. They then whispered to each other. Luke looked nervous and I felt nervous too.

"Will you look after my granddaughter? Not hurt her and treat her right?" My grandfather asked. Luke seemed more confident. I noticed that the rest of the family were watching.

"Of course sir. Your granddaughter is the love of my life. I've loved her from the day that we met and have always treated her well". He said confidently. My grandad looked at my Dad who nodded.

"Welcome to the Oakes Family boy". He smiled and I began crying. Luke looked relieved and the family were cheering. I hugged Luke and we walked back to the sofa to give out presents. Jacob got a new rugby ball. My grandma got a candle that smelt of the countryside which was strange as she lived in the middle of one. My grandad got a bottle of wine, my aunt got some nice smelling joss sticks and my uncle got some Jack Daniels. For my great grandmother, I got her a box of chocolate and some expensive hand cream. They got me makeup, clothes and shoes for tour which was amazing. We then had time before Christmas dinner to chat and hang out. Serena grabbed me and took me to other living room. 

"I've got a crazy plan and I want to know your opinion". She said.

"What is it?" I asked, very intrigued. 

"There was a really large house up for sale near my house. It has a long drive and it seems to have loads of rooms. I say we buy it, renovate it and move in after tour". She said. I was shocked.

"How are we going to renovate it when we aren't here?". I said.

"Our families. I trust them so much". She said enthusiastically. I seemed doubtful.

"We have a home in Sydney Serena". She then smiled. 

"Summer home!". I hesitated but agreed.

"Go and ask the boys their opinion". I said and she went off. She surely is mad. Grandma called us for dinner and I went to eat. I was a hungry bunny. 

-After the tour-

It was June. Tour had just ended and we were heading to our place we bought after Christmas. Serena had convinced us all in the end to buy it.  Mine and Serena's families had worked hard on this place. We were just in time to celebrate Serena's birthday, which was the 20th of June. That is 5 days away. We had ended the tour in Los Angeles and we got a flight to Heathrow Airport. We then took a four hour train journey from Paddington station to Swansea station. Then we got a taxi home with all of our luggage. We were first class on the train and the people serving us food gave us a brown bag of snacks. We thanked the immensely. (A/N Actually happened to my sister. We were travelling from Bristol to Swansea and the man serving us gave her a bag of snacks! So unfair!!) We finally got out of the taxi and I got a text from my mum.

Hiya Darling. I've hidden the key in the potted plant by the front door. It's in an envelope.

I walked up to the dark oak front door and looked at the potted plant. I saw the envelope and opened it. Inside was three keys. I made a mental note to myself to get more keys cut. I waited for everyone to come to the door. They came with all our luggage and I said. "Here we go guys. Let's move in!" I put the key in the keyhole and turned it until it went click. I grabbed the door knob and opened the door. We all went inside. It was amazing. The living room had black couches and a glass coffee table. The TV was 50 inches. I saw a Sky box under it.I wandered around a bit and found the amazing pool. I wanted to jump in so badly. The water was so blue and the diving board was calling my name. There was a remote control to change the temperature and the lighting of the pool. The ceiling was glass so you could look up at the sun or the stars. I would put the remote to good use. The kitchen was my dream. There was a huge fridge with an ice dispenser. Enough baking utensils to make a million cookies, there were bar stools at the counter and the oven was massive. I opened the fridge and it was jam packed with food. I saw a post it note. It said: Hello there. Enjoy eating this lovely food. Fae, we know you suck at shopping so we bought food now. Love you. Grandma xxx

I chuckled. I then made my way upstairs. I heard everyone gasping when they walked into their clearly signposted rooms. I decided to look in everyone else's rooms before mine and the sloth caves. I looked in Calum's room first. His door had his name written on it and a picture of himself and New Zealand next to them. The walls were baby blue and the carpet was cream. He had a double bed which had a pretty Japanese pattern covers on it. He had an oak desk in the corner which had a computer on it. He had a door going to his ensuite and he had a lovely oak wardrobe that should be able to fit loads of clothes in. There was a full sized mirror and a bookshelf full of games. I left Calum's room and checked out Lukes. Luke's door sign had a picture of him and I on the beach in LA and a sun. It was opposite Calum's room I opened his door and saw that he also had a cream carpet. His walls were white and his bed had sky blue covers.  His bed was a four poster, king sized and was next to a wall. There was a balcony facing the back of the house and the pool. His room was a lot like Calum's room but he had loads of guitars mounted on the walls. He also had a large wardrobe and a shelf with little things on it. A lot of games but some little trinkets. He had a desk with a computer on it and it was just the perfect room for him. I then walked up the hall to Ash's room. Ash's door had a picture of himself and a tree. I walked in. The walls were cream and the floor was oak planks. The bed was in the far left corner and it had white covers. It was a double. There was a massive window and opposite was a couch looking out over the garden. He had a bookshelf full of books. It also had a drumset and a desk with a really powerful computer. Ash also had an ensuite. Next I went across the hall to Michael's room. On his door was a selfie of us all that he took and an XBOX controller. I walked in and instantly loved his room. It had pale blue walls and a dark oak floors. On one wall there were a load of guitars and books. The bed  was large and it had green covers. By his ensuite bathroom, he had a oak wardrobe and by his bed he had a desk with his amazing new computer. Next to his desk there was a load of shelves with movies and CD's. I noticed that there were a few quotes written on his walls. They were:

Most people see the world in black and white but grey. I don't know what to do with grey

We know what we are but we know not what we may be

Love doesn't make the world go round; love is what makes the ride worthwhile

and There is nothing on this earth more to be prized than true friendship

The quotes were painted in green. I then left Michael's room and went next door to Serena's room. On her door, there was a picture of her and a picture of a TV. I opened the door and walked into her room. Her room was amazing! The floor was wood planks. There was an indoor balcony and the wall by the door was purple. The wall on my right by the ensuite door was blue. The far wall was made of chalk board paint and the left wall was also blue. In the top right corner of the room there was a spiral staircase and posters on the wall. On the blue wall on the left, there was a vanity table with a jewelry box and music sheets. In the far left corner was a desk with a laptop, notebooks, stationary and a lamp. I went up the stairs and saw a window and a purple shaggy rug in the middle of the indoor balcony. There was a double bed with blue covers that had purple and black embroidery. There were also fairy lights everywhere. There was a door to a walk in wardrobe where she could go and do her makeup and get ready for stuff. I left her room to look at mine. I walked across the hall and went to my door.

My door had a cute selfie I sent to my mother of me and the 5SOS boys on stage and it also had a music note. I opened the door and gasped. I walked in and closed the door. The wall that held my door was purple. The wall to the right was dark purple. The wall the furthest away was also chalkboard paint and the wall to my left was a lilac color. The floor was cream carpet and there was an indoor balcony. Next to the lilac wall under the balcony, there was a white comfy swinging couch with loads of pillows. My ensuite door was on the dark purple wall and next to it was my walk in wardrobe. Next to my walk in wardrobe there was a vanity table with loads of makeup and jewelry. Next to my swinging couch was a desk which had a laptop, a load of notebooks and a bunch of hair stuff. In the far right corner of my room, opposite the door, there were a set of spiral stair cases. I climbed up them and smiled. Over by the lilac wall was a beautiful double bed that had light green covers on it. There were fairy lights all around the bed and there were two bedside tables. The dark purple wall had a bookshelf with loads of books, movies, CD's and DVD's and my keyboard, keyboard stand, acoustic guitar and my electric guitar was all piled up. There were fairy lights on the balcony. I turned to look at the chalkboard wall and saw a balcony outside that showed the sea view. I was crying. I loved this room so much. I heard a knock on my bedroom door. "Come in!" I shouted. The door opened to reveal my mother. 

"Hiya Fae. Like your room?" Mum asked and walked up to the balcony.

"OH MY LEAFY! IT'S AMAZING! Thank you so much. This is perfect!" I cried/yelled and hugged her. The door knocked again. "Come in!" The door opened and I ran to my balcony and saw Michael, Ash, Calum, Luke and Serena. 

"Woah! Your room is amazing! Have you seen your sloth cave yet?" Luke asked.

"No. Guide me Luke!" I asked. Luke came up and carried me bridal style down the stairs and to the room. The door had a sign saying. Fae's Sloth Cave. Do not Enter. If Fae is in here, take her out after 4 hours for a 15 minute break lol! I giggled knowing that my dad did that. Calum opened the door for Luke and he put me down. There was a giant black leather couch, a very large TV with an XBox, a Wii and a Playstation, two lamps, a mini fridge and a bookshelf with loads of games. On the bookshelf was also a 3DS. The walls were cream except the one that had the TV on it which was burgundy. There was a quote above the couch which said So lets run away. They will have to find another heart to break. I saw a note on my TV. It said. Hello Fae. I have put Netflix on here for you and the couch converts into a bed. Love you loads, Dad

It was 6pm so we decided to order pizza and I uploaded a video onto YouTube. 

-ONE HOUR LATER-

"FAEEE!! PIZZA!!" Calum and Ash called. I ran downstairs. We ate our pizza and I decided I wanted to go for a swim. I walked upstairs and walked into my walk in wardrobe. I grabbed my black tankini and then popped into my ensuite to grab a towel. I got changed in my room then walked to the pool. I stepped in and felt the warm water. I swam to the deep end and looked up. I saw the stars. The pool lighting was a bit much so I pressed a button on the remote and dimmed it. 

"Hey. Mind if I join you?" I turned around expecting to see Luke but it was Michael.

"Um.. Yeah sure". Michael swam over and looked at me.

"What do you see in him?" He questioned. I knew who he was talking about.

"Why do you want to know?" I asked whilst getting rather annoyed.

"I'm just wondering. You could have gone for any guy. Why him?". I was getting annoyed. 

"Because he saved my life. You all did". I sighed. He looked apologetic.

"How?"

I sighed. "When I was fifteen, I was in a dark place. Serena, who was my closest friend at that time, didn't know what I was going through. She introduced me to you guys. Within a month, I was diagnosed with Aspergers. A form of autism and a month after that. My mum was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis which is an autoimmune disease. I felt like my life was over. I was in a state of depression. I was going to end my life. I decided I wanted to listen to a song of yours before I died. I went on my phone and clicked shuffle. The first song that came on was Amnesia. It came on and I was in tears. I realized that I needed to stay on Earth. I decided to not die. I needed to live for my mum and for you guys". Michael looked at me and hugged me in the water.

"I'm glad we saved you. I bet our lives would be so much different" I laughed. 

"Where is Luke?" I asked. 

"Right here!" He jumped in splashing me and Michael. He came up and kissed me. "Lets go to the sloth cave" I nodded and got out of the pool and grabbed my towel. He was being defensive and I could see it.

-Serenas POV-

Welp. Today was amazing. Ash and I have been hanging out in my room watching films on my bed. "Serena! I wanna do something fun!" He whined.

"Want to go prank Fae and Luke?" I said mischievously. He grinned.

- BACK TO FAE-

I walked through the house and into my room. I went into my wardrobe and picked out a black and red checked shirt and black sweats. . I tied my hair up into a topknot and walked to the sloth cave.  I left the door slightly open.I grabbed popcorn from the kitchen and orange soda from the mini fridge. Luke was sitting on my couch with blankets. He was wearing a onesie. I giggled and sat by him. I turned the TV on and the lamps off chucking the soda at . I snuggled into him and we decided to watch Friday the 13th. Halfway through the film I heard creaking. "Luke"

"Hmm". He sounded so calm.

"Did you hear that?" I looked up at him.

"No". I shrugged and turned back to the TV snuggling into him. Again I heard the creaking about 10 minutes before the film ended. I got up and turned on the nearest lamp. There was a black figure in the corner of the room so naturally I screamed and hid in Luke's chest. Luke shouted.  I heard laughing in the distance.

"First prank in the house COMPLETE!!" I heard Ash shout and laugh.

"BEST PRANK EVER!" Serena shouted and kissed Ash.

"Fuck you guys!" I yelled. "We are gonna get you back so hard!" I yelled again then yawned.

"You tired Fae?" Luke asked. I nodded. He carried me into my room. He then placed me gently on my bed and closed my curtains. As he was about to leave I said, sleepily. 

"Stay with me tonight". He climbed into my bed and held me until I fell asleep.

Authors Note: Rewriting the beginning of this chapter was probably one of the hardest things I have ever done. Not because it took forever but since writing this book, both my great-grandmother and my grandfather have passed. I know that for Serena and myself, one of the chapters is going to be hard on us so Serena, I am warning you that there will be a character that is based off of someone we both know and love so much. He will appear in one of the upcoming chapters but you'll know who it is based on the way that I describe him. You can probably guess who it is. But for those who do not know me and Serena in real life, I'll make an authors note at the end of that chapter explaining that person and the impact he had on Serena and I. Myself in particular.
