So apparently, there's this fictional disease called Hanahaki disease that stems from one-sided love.

Basically, the person throws up flowers, and like, they can die from it. However, it can be cured, by
A. Getting surgery, but that removes the feeling of love
or
B. Getting the other person to love you back

I feel like making an AU of this. There are plenty of AA characters that could have that. *cough* Larry, Valant, Oldbag, Lauren Paups or whatever her name was *cough*

Ok, Oldbag doesn't deserve it. But she does like Edgeworth.
