(Macy's POV)

Clay has been acting weird this past month or so. Every time we unexpectedly met in the hallway, he blushes and zooms out. Is he trying to avoid me?

On Friday I didn't show up at the Fortrex because 1) I had a 'fantastic' royal dinner at 4, and 2) Okay, I wanted to take a break from Clay.

He acts like...he doesn't want me on the team. Clay tries to avoid me all the time, and when he can't he rushes in front of me looking at the ground.

Clay is right: I am not meant to be a Knight.
