Minecraft. You all know the game. The sensation of 2012 that still has a very large and loyal fanbase. It came to switch last year and I recently got the game so I'll do a quick review on it.

Minecraft is a game I've bought 6 times. Once on pc, once on Xbox, three times on mobile, and once on switch. It's just such a fun game and so easy to waste countless hours on. Plus it's always there whenever you want to play it and they're still constantly updating the game.

The switch version is a very complete experience with all the newest updates, infinite worlds, and the modern comforts of console Minecraft.

It runs very nicely and is perfect for playing wherever you want. Plus it's substantially easier on switch to get a second player in the game and it's all the more fun.

I haven't played Minecraft in a while so it's amazing to see just how much it's changed. They fixed the broken combat from 1.9 and finally made oceans interesting. The sea life is incredible and certain parts are just downright beautiful.

They recently added crossplay and there are multiple servers you can join on switch giving you plenty to do online.

The game has so many details and so many new animations. It's a must have on any platform and while the pc is far more definitive the switch version is the best Minecraft experience out of the consoles.  It'd be interesting if they added gyro controls for camera movement but the stick works just fine.

I know I'll definitely be sinking hundreds of hours into Minecraft. It's well worth the price so give it a shot. That's all for this quickie. Have a great day!
