The two siblings ran over to an old, beaten-down shed-like house that snaked around the Twoleg lab, trying to find a way of sneaking in. Fiona tried to find some kind of door that lead inside. Fianna thought that there might be a secret entrance. Pinebranch leaped around in the trees trying to get an aerial view of the shed below.

"Fiona and Pinebranch," Fianna called cheerfully, her spirits still high even in the face of possible failure, "do you see anyway to get inside?"

"Nope," Pinebranch replied and leaped down from a tree to rejoin the other cats.

Fiona shook her head in despair. The three looked around the lab once more, trying to find some kind of secret passage into the lab. Fianna clawed the ground and Fiona was trying to see if some of the walls would open up. The sun was already high in the sky, they had been looking around for hours, but couldn't find anything. Tension was rising because the sisters thoutgh that they might be stuck in each other forever. A tom cat jumped out from a berry bush and scared the cats half to death.

"Meow!" he screeched and all of the cats flinched in shock

"Han, don't scare us like that." Fiona retorted.

Han laughed and chuckled. Pinebranch looked up and shook his head. Before he knew it, he saw a way to get into the lab.

"Fiona—Fianna, there's a hole up there." Pinebranch meowed, pointing his nose at the top of the shed-like building.

Fianna gasped and nudged her sister.

"How do we get up there though?" Fiona asked Pinebranch.

Han stepped forward, "There is this Twoleg object that I have that could raise the elevation of the ground so that you could reach it."

The cat nodded and Han ran quickly away and came back with a box looking object. He place it underneath and near the hole. Fiona decided to jump on the box and leap into the hole. Fianna followed her into the hole.

"Whoa, where are we?" Fianna asked.

Fiona sneezed and grunted, "I have no idea, but it's dusty and I hate it."

Pinebranch leaped in after them. We are in an airduct." he meowed, "It'll lead us into the lab."

"Let's get a move on then!" Fianna meowed excitedly and started to lead the way, bouncing a little at the thought of being returned to her own body.
