Kayden's POV
I groaned without opening my eyes as I woke up by my phone's ringtone. I buried my head into the pillow while the phone was still ringing.
"Who is it?" A girl asked sleepily and frowned in annoyance.
As my phone didn't stop ringing, I rolled over, cursing under my breath angrily.
"Give me my phone." I told the blonde woman lying on my right side on the bed, my eyes still closed.
"Kayden, who is it early morning?" The brunette sleeping in my left side on the bed asked as she
tightened her arm around my waist and leaned her head on my chest.
I ignored her question and grabbed the phone.
"Yes?" I snapped, irritated as soon as I picked up
the phone.
"I need your help, Kade."My twin brother, Jayden said nervously.
"Couldn't it wait?" I asked, annoyed and yawned, rubbing my eyes.
"No, it is important. Let's meet up at the cafe near the company." My brother replied firmly.
"What happened?" I frowned as I sat up on the bed, pushing the brunette away, and ran my hand
through my disheveled hair.
"I will tell you when you come to the cafe. Please be quick." He answered and hung up the phone without letting me say anything.
I heaved a loud sigh and crawled towards the bottom of the bed to get up while the girls were still lying on the bed. Then I picked up my clothes scattered on the floor one by one and started putting them on quickly.
"Sorry, girls, but I have to leave. It is urgent." I informed them as I approached them and placed
kisses on their lips.
They pouted sadly and sat up on the bed. "How about repeating last night tonight? The blonde girl suggested hopefully while I was tucking my shirt into my suit pants.
"Umm... I will call you." I replied in a hurry as I grabbed my jacket.
"We will leave you our numbers." The girls shouted behind me, but I left the suite quickly, ignoring them. They thought I was staying at this hotel because I lied to them telling I was here on a vacation.
***
I parked my blue Bugatti Chiron in front of the café and got out of the car. I took off my black
shades as I walked into the café and looked for my twin brother. Once I saw him sitting near the
window, I approached him. He was lost in his thoughts; so he didn't notice me.
"Hey!" I greeted my twin cheerfully, tapping on his shoulder, and ordered the waiter to bring me a cup of espresso before sitting on a vacant seat. "I am all ears. What is this urgent matter which made you disturb me early morning?" I asked, annoyed and yawned, leaning back against my seat while waiting for my coffee impatiently. I needed it so badly to wake up fully. I didn't sleep properly last night.
"Sorry to disturbing you. It seems you had a tough night again." Jayden commented sarcastically and pointed to the collar of my shirt.
I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion and looked at my collar, pulling it. "Damn it!" I exclaimed under my breath as I saw some red lipstick smeared on my collar.
"You are hopeless." Jayden commented, shaking his head.
"Be respectful to your older brother." I warned him, giving him a dirty look.
"Just fifteen minutes." He reminded arrogantly.
"Still... I am the elder one." I winked at him playfully and took a sip from my coffee as the waiter finally brought my order.
"Whatever!" Jayden pouted and sighed. "I need your help." He added with a serious expression on his face as he cleared his throat.
"Tell your guru, my child. I am ready to give you advice to solve your problem." I commented cockily as I pointed to myself, smirking.
"Kayden! Be serious for a few minutes." Jayden stated angrily and rolled his eyes.
"Fine, fine. Tell me." I raised my hands in surrender.
"Last Friday Grandpa asked me to visit him. When I went there, he told me that he met his business partner, Tristan Sullivan's daughter yesterday, and... he thought we would suit each other. So he asked me to go on a date with her."
I burst out laughing as soon as Jayden finished his sentence. "I was going to ask which grandpa. However, now I know it is definitely Richard." I commented between laughs. My paternal grandfather always enjoyed playing a matchmaker. "Does he want you marry her as well?" I asked sarcastically.
Jayden sighed without replying. My eyes widened in shock as I understood that our old man really asked my brother to marry that girl.
"He must be crazy!" I shook my head in disbelief. "He will pester you about it."
"No need because... I accepted to marry that girl." My brother informed me nonchalantly.
My jaw dropped in shock. "What?!" I exclaimed, dumbfounded. "You have to be kidding me."
He heaved a loud sigh. "That day I wasn't in the right state of mind. So I accepted it out of anger." Jayden said, depressed.
"Are you crazy? How could you accept this ridiculous idea? I didn't think you looked forward to marrying some random woman who you have never seen before." I commented mockingly. "Or do you know her?" I asked suspiciously, furrowing my eyebrows.
"No, I have never seen Hazel before." He shook his head. "I know I shouldn't have accepted . I regret it."
"Good for you." I mocked, rolling my eyes.
"Kayden!" My twin warned me and sighed. "I went to talk to my grandpa last evening and tell him I changed my mind, but he informed me that he had already talked to Tristan and tomorrow evening I have a date with Tristan's daughter before I managed to say something. So I need your help."
"How can I help you? I hope you wouldn't ask me to marry that girl instead of you." I asked mockingly and shook my head, smirking in amusement. "Why don't you just tell grandpa you changed your mind and you don't plan to marry that girl? So you would save us from this charade?" I winked at him and flashed him a cocky smirk.
My twin rolled his eyes. "Smartass! Don't you know our grandpa?! He will do everything to get what he wants."
"Fine... What do you want me to do?" I asked, giving him a questioning look.
"Pretend that you are me and date her."
"What?!" I exclaimed in shock. "You are crazy. And I don't think she would be against this marriage if she dates a man like me. Don't forget that girls are crazy for your brother." I commented arrogantly and winked at him.
My twin rolled his eyes. "Yes, maybe you can make girls fall in love with you easily, but you are good at making them hate you deeply as well." He stated wickedly.
"Ha ha ha." I mocked, annoyed. "You are so funny." I scowled. "Do you think I will help you after your compliment?" I asked sarcastically, emphasizing the words - your compliment.
"Please, Kade." He pleaded.
I sighed. "Do you really think our parents won't understand that we switched places?"
"When you missed the meeting last month, I attended the meeting, pretending you. Dad and our
grandpa didn't understand anything. Besides, our parents are going on vacation in two days. And they won't be back earlier than two weeks." My brother replied hopefully.
"Still no." I shook my head.
If my father found out about it, I would be in deep shit. I could imagine how he would scold me, starting from my irresponsibility, nightlife, and so on. He would even take my car as he did last year when I caused him to lose two billion dollars contract.
No, I didn't need another trouble. Especially now, when I wouldn't get anything from this
agreement. Moreover, maybe Tristan's daughter wasn't even beautiful. No need to get in trouble
for nothing.
"Didn't you want my yacht? If you help me, it is yours." Jayden suggested firmly.
