Scarlett continued to shuffle through old cardboard boxes for things to keep and throw away. She looked over at her friend, Philip, who was carefully picking through old paintings. She always thought that he was adorable, with his longer, curly (and soft) dark brown hair. He also had ice blue eyes, and sported a cute collection of freckles. Scarlett on the other hand,  had long curly tiziano red hair and amber colored eyes. She looked back at the box she was digging through and caught something out of the corner of her eye.

 "Hey Philip, c'mere!" she called to him, and he shuffled over to her.

 "Whatcha find?" He questioned, right before Scarlett pulled out what looked like a small cassette player. They looked at it for a moment, then finally Philip piped up.

 "An 80's walkman, nice! Wonder if it still works..." He took it out of Scarlett's hands and inspected it.

 "I have a pair of earbuds in my room, I'll run and go get them!" Scarlett grinned and climbed out of the small attic and rushed to her upstairs bedroom. She snatched the earbuds and rushed back to Philip, who was messing with the chunky buttons on the small walkman. Scarlett sat down next to him and plugged in the earbuds. The walkman seemed to turn on by itself after they put the earbuds on. A cheery piano tune rung through their ears, though something seemed off. 

                                                             Suddenly, everything went black.
