Okay, so this is gonna be a REALLY long post! The most important information is that I will likely be on hiatus for about a week because 1. I am going to the beach, and 2. I am in the middle of a really bad art block right now, and that is why I have been so inactive lately. If you want to stop reading here that's fine, I just have some puppy paintings, alpacas, giraffes, and parrots on my head up ahead ;)

Okay so anyways my mom and I took this really cool painting class where you send in a picture of your pet, and they enlarge it and screen print it onto a canvas. It was really fun, even though my painting of my dog turned out crappy!

Also, today, I went to the Riverbanks Zoo! It's my favorite zoo of all time!! We fed the giraffe, and we cuddled the alpacas, (who are really fucking soft ngl), we saw sea turtles and snakes and shit, but the best part were the lorikeets. They're my favorite exhibit and I go there every time I come. It's an exhibit where you can go into sort of an aviary and buy cups of nectar, which you can then give to the birds. For some reason I have a really special gift with the birds, to the point where I'm covered in dozens of birds, can identify each one, and am friends with the trainers. (I go multiple times each year). So I'm covered in birds, and my favorite thing to do is grab a kid, (I usually have a circle of them around me,) I give them a cup of nectar, and then I put the bird on them. It's the cutest thing, they love it. The kids are usually really rambunctious, so the birds get scared, but I can calm them down enough to jump on a kid. It's pretty fucking cool. I sat in there for like 2 hours while my grandma and my sister explored the rest of the zoo. It's always funny cause when I leave, I have to literally put all the birds on other kids before I can sneak out XD. The birds shit all over my new Vans though.. Oh well. Here are all the pictures! (We didn't get any where I'm covered in birds cause there's always a huge crowd around me and my grandma can never get a good shot, also, they normally aren't in the cage with me XD the birds always bite my sister)

So yeah! Also, I'm going to be going back on the 12th, and doing the night owl thing, (where you spend the night at the zoo and stay up with all the nocturnal animals,) and doing a zip line tour at the zoo the following day!
